L2.exe locks other files

Recommended Posts

When Lineage client is running, files of currently running other processes are locked by L2.exe (that means files can not be modified because it is being used by another process). This issue can cause problems with updates of Windows or other applications while L2 client is running.

I understand, but if checking operation has break time, files should be unlocked. Some software that self-updates automatically can stop working, if files can not be modified.

Hello. We checked and every solution will lead to weakening protection. Currently we are not planing to change anything about it, sorry.
