Drop/Spoil list of Zaken Patch

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if there is a possibility that GM’s/Admins can make a post specifying the drop/spoil of the new monsters from Zaken Patch of this server.

sometimes the L2 Wiki’s database differs from this server because of the version differences and all that stuff that we already know.

Thank you in advance.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

It doesn't really need to be all fancy, if it's possible then just drag all the monsters drops in some basic .txt file just so we could ctr+f in it... It would be an absolute bomb tbh.

Totally agree! having some raw text with the info will for sure lead to someone giving some of his / her time to the community and making that into something easier to read like there's in wiki ??

it isnt like we rly have nothing else more important to do you know? xD

do you even start to imagine how much time it takes to calculate drop chances for multiple items in a server that runs on official files and how mentally disturbing it is?

its not like for us it says java style like you go to monster info and it shows "sop 20%" on the files.

monsters have drop groups,

each group has its own chance.

each item inside of the group has its individual chance to drop if this group is selected to drop

and groups have multiple items with multiple chances.

meaning, to do that txt file we literally have to go to every monster, check the individual groups, calculate the chance of this group to be selected, see the items inside of this groups, go for every single item in the group and calculate their chances to drop if this group is selected to drop, multiple and divide every item with the group chance and the % and only then we get to the chance of the item to drop in a monster.

now imagine repeating this process for every single items that drops from every single group from every single monster when there are so many more things to do.

im sure people on ncsoft have their own tools/workers to deal with this issue and they can afford to share it with their contractors to make their databases and so on but unfortunately we dont have the money or the human resources for this kind of thing.

is something that i might work on later, but it will for sure not be done while theres other problms to solve.

Damn, didn't realise it is THAT complicated.

However would it be simpler to make bare list  without any %? Cause I don't even know which mob to try if for example I would like to get rec: mj light armor.

Thanks in advance, boss.

we dont need % of item. Just what does that mob even than? sop? bones? enria, mold glue etc, we know that casuals mats has more chances, enra and sop will have less chances, recipes even less. But if even this takes to much time, forget it. Fix things u have to fix. We are really thankful to your team. gg wp.

Is there any chance I can get access to those java files?? I can come up with something.

I am a professional developer.

As @Zultar said, perhaps it would be a bit easier if you could provide this info without chances? The chances don't really matter that much...

Does anyone know what is needed to do that? Are the drop charta somewhere in game files and need to be extracted and calculated?

I will gladly attempt to do the mathematical part of the problem however I have no clue if obtaining the data is possibly and where it is or what does it take to react it.

I would love to start the Classic Club drop / spoil list project, as long as we can do it as players.

You can kill each mob milion times and estimate chance.
