respecting your bd knowledge i will answer you seriously. 
1) they focus me even on bd
2) there is no need to be glass cannon in mage cp

I see..I am inactive for far too long, maybe the meta changed a lot since then. Nevertheless I spent like half a year playing in a mage group (Kyrios, Pistolas, DnB, Ganja and others) and glass cannon was my way back then with great success, I can tell.

However what I can totally relate with is being focused on BD, so I get it
