    The most you're gonna get from posts like this is a hefty dose of ban hammer.

    18 days until the end of August, so lets just say the launch will be on 31st August. If it arrives sooner, then that's a bonus.

    Ban hammer? Aaah i see, u're new here :). There's no such thing on this forum :)

    ​Yep i'm fairly new here, there's like 20 posts, maybe more asking this same question, admins/mods wouldn't normally tolerate this sort of thing, but each to their own. People should be discouraged from posting demands like this, no?

    ​As you said you're new here, this classic server has been in beta for like 6+ months, so it's normal that people excited when they announce it's coming up very soon. And since admin don't tell us what is left to finish before live, we have no idea what is going on :P and also because if it's supposed to open in august like they said, there is not much time to make the announcement with atleast 2 weeks left for advertisement, making CP's / clans, etc. :P

    We will see, but normally they should give us an answer in the next 4 days if they really want to open in august (to have a 2 weeks preparation). cross fingers guys!

    ​I think they will give us update 3-4 days before realise date :).

    Zein asked for this topic to be closed, pls some mod, if there is any, listen to him :). This discussion drifted away from the creator intentions, a lot of people already stated that they disagree with this idea. I think that the situation is clear here :)

    Man, it's just a bad idea. It's classic server, with low rates. It is just wrong.

    ​wrong ? really ??...if you live in REAL life L2 and some Ork and D.elf  say ''i will teach you for free 2 class'' and you say ''its wrorg'' ? really ?....you will say its not real.!?...its not its systemly.. ..system ...system...ok i understaund ..have fun 

    ​If you want to role play then... As a DE I'm better than some filthy orc so gtfo with your lame skills... and even if I would want to learn something from other Dark Elves the question would be, can I? I'm a warrior, I don't have talent nor any capability for magic. Elements don't want to listen to me, I have no control over them. I am supportive Bladedancer, I don't have SP(capability for learning) even for new dances, that needs a lot of time to master and a lot of effort to performe. I don't have time nor the will to learn any skills from other warriors, let them do their job, I have mine and I'm damn good in it. Soooo no, thx but u can take ur skills and put them u know where :). Here u have a reality and role playing.

    If you think for a moment, the efforts required to build such a project on PTS platform is tremendous, there is a reason why we are the only ones offering this. Moving to Classic 2.0 will be way more easier then creating Classic 1.0.

    We understand some players are impatient, but we are doing our best here.

    ​yes while u had 3 months ago , ur server going for live .. 1h before u start it , u said (we cant start the server we found an error) .. not even said the error u found , now beta 2.0 its taking too long for live and then u want 1 month beta 2.0 , really , SUMMER WILL END AND EVERYONE IS BACK TO SCHOOL/WORK // GG WP

    You don't understand what 2.0 mean.

    They want to release a new build for their server, that not mean a new chronicle update, just less bug and more fonctionality.

    Just be patient, they do this for free actually don't forget that.

     

    ​Well I agree with you.. still they made some decisions I can't understand and can't be happy about. In my opinion they just don't really care anymore :P

    it will be nice if we have mulltiskill  option from really really hard quest only one of some any class..and i mean hard like ReidBoss but not two hard to kill(and again for another skill)..OR from PVP points(with i mean PVP its better idea) ..as long as you keep wining mostly you will keep the extra skill's(with time limit from wins support to restore)..and with continue to fall you losing the extra's skill's ....and again wining and restoring the skill  B|)  ?..its far better the hero option .. now any can be ''hero typ'' if you are truly that good to keep wining B|!!..i am shoor many player will be staying and playing hard only for that idea :ph34r:xD IF WAS LIKE THAT , I WILL KNOW WHAT KEEP INTERESTING ME TO PLAY THIS SERVER ... THAT !!!!!!!!!!!... i am two tired to play again same thing over and over no something to evolve ..take this in you mine admin(with respect).. well if not i will search for another 3000+ L2 server's

    Restart będzie na bank i to nawet dwa. Nie opłaca się, polecam l2e-global. Całkiem fajnie się gra, można przeczekać do startu tego serwera. Myślę że tak jeszcze ze dwa miesiące im zejdzie.

    Obczai to, mają wakacje.

    ​Well i didn't say it works there :D

    But putting someone's time and effort to bypassing bot protection on official server with thousands of players, yield a little more rewards, than doing it on one of the zillions of private servers...

    ​I agree with you, it's way more profitable to bot on official etc. But... there are still thousands of bots on private servers, this is classic, people will bot a lot to make things easier for them. We should do everything to discaurage this kind of behavior :).

    Stolen accounts are stolen from people who gave them away, by people who got them - unless your password is password. I seriously doubt the off chance of someone putting the effert to hacking a private server is worth the effert on administration's and players' side...

    So i'd suggest just enforcing aplhanumeric + caps password, and use this to hinder botting instead, like Innova does.There's never too much protection against botters.

    Nobody. The grind in L2, and especially Classic is poorly designed, it's tedious and boring. It's the people that make this game what it is, and soloing for XY months is no fun at all. Unless you play 10+ hours a day, in which case you'll end up doing HE + PP (+BD) multibox.

    ​How can u say that :O. It's a grind, how can it be designed well? :D I agree with you that people make this game, soloing in Lineage is like playing frisbee alone, a lot of running and not really that fun :P. Don't solo, always try to find party and people to play with.
