Spell book spirit barrier for elf archer.

This is for the quest from the progress tracker Strix, to get C grade equipment. The quest at some point asks for a huge amount of mats, specifically: 50 Animal skin 20 iron ore 2 Stone of purity 12 Varnish I also think that this equipment limited to 7 days. Isn't it better to get the permanent C grade armor from giran using the coin of knowledge?
