BUMP because we got level 4 now -
Using basic attack first and then killing of with the skill is what solved this for me. Still a bug, though

Once I get to Alain and kill the lizardmen, I get stuck. Alaina does nothing, Manuel sends back to Alaina (which summons lizardmen again) and repeats over and over. Perin says he has no business with me. Tried cancelling quest, but same thing happens again.
