My advice is running to the store and buy a Windows machine! or FORGET PLAYING

If you wanna play some games, you should buy Windows machine, not MAC... Mac never was and never be designed for playing games

​About linux i dont know really, but i think its possible but hard to launch l2

You can play with BootCamp running Windows. But i doubt it will work very well because the specs of the machine. But you can try

Hello. I play on mac osx and it runs pretty smooth.  I use wine v1.7.33, with lower version I get errors. Also I have installed a lot of stuff from winetricks (http://askubuntu.com/questions/316025/how-to-install-and-configure-wine)
