​You can consider Classic as a lineage 2 reboot by NCsoft. It's a mixture of features, but if you want a general idea, you could say it's in the area of the the first few chronicles, before C4. But there is newer stuff like a more modern UI, skills working like in the newer chronicles etc.

Server won't start in august. You need to have several weeks of advertising if you want to have successful server and there's like 2 weeks left in august. This is barely enough to advertise your start but as you can see, there still is no announcement. That just means that the earliest the server will start will be somewhere around the 15th of next month!

​I think you guys made a mistake when you first announced the server. You should've waited until you were sure about stuff related to launch. Now, loads of ppl kind of gave up. I hope the server will be at least half as popular as it could have been!

​Mate, what's going on with this server? Did you at least update the open beta server to the new assembly? Let the community test it out and see in what state it is. It might just be in a playable state, ready to be launched. If it only has minor issues left, you could launch like that and fix them while live.

Probably because their server files are H5, modified into L2 Classic. They need to remove the extra stuff and modify the stuff that remains to be the same as classic. A lot of work and it will never be identical with official but since there is no other option ... In future dex said they will start private classic with official files but until then, this is the only option.

Why is the server so buggy? Cause they don't have authentic, official files. They have some kind of extender, a mod if you will, that makes the files from other chronicle (either H5 or GoD) simulate the classic ones. Thing is, to do this, it will need years of work and even then, it won't be perfect. For a perfect example remember interlude on privates. It was modified from C4 to interlude and it was extremely buggy for years, until it reached an acceptable state and still it wasn't perfect.
