​This is bullcrap, as much as it pains me to say it - L2 was never an mmorpg that needs lots of skills in PvP. Just pick a target and start mashing few skills. If you're a mage or archer - pick a target and mash skills while occasionally running away from your target. There's always some class that always beats the other with the exception of if the weaker class gets more lucky with critical hits and stuns. ​I like how so many people claim this. This is why you're going to get rolled in PvP. Anyways, not that it's that big of a deal. Server goes live soon and you'll see for yourself, :p. There's going to be a LOT of people bitching about me here, but I love the tears. I've been missing it. Things like this are awesome. And that wasn't farming n00bs. It was farming n00bs until their high levels came and then wiping higher levels/higher geared players of the same class (and other classes). But alas, L2C shall soon learn for themselves. There's actually quite a few references to me (I didn't even find out until years later, as I never visited the official forums, and one day decided to search my own char names to see if there was anything). It was fun, and I look forward to making the same marks here! I already started, but only got to 217 PKs before I got bored and decided to wait until live. P.S.: if you seriously think that L2 is a skill-less game, I'll personally prove you wrong later. Toss me a PM when you hit 75 and are geared, and I'll kill you on whatever class I hit 75 with first, :p. Not sure if that'll be dwarf, EE or Necro, but that gives you a 66.67% chance of at least having a LITTLE chance of winning.

The answer to this question is... "any class." L2P. 99.9% of the game's players don't understand their class and how it relates to other classes. As such, if you actually learn a class -- regardless of which class it is -- you're going to rock the shit out of the vast majority of players with no problems. People need to quit with this "xxx is best" bullshit; every class has its pros and cons, and it's learning how to take advantage of and compensate for them that will bring you to the top.

It's basically the same method you'd use in RL, with the difference being that it's a lot easier in-game since we start out on an equal footing. My goal is to be the first to hit 1bil adena. It's going to be a struggle, for sure. 100m will take long enough as it is. I'm not even sure if I can hit 1bil before 2.0 releases. But that's why we set goals. Shoot for the moon and the worst that happens is you land on top of the world, :).

At the start of the server prices will be higher but in the end even out at around 10a. ​I somehow screwed up my response yesterday. Anyways, with 3x, the price of SS/SPS/BSPS is going to be cheap. That said, if anyone has an issue with it, they should not be playing a dwarf. 10a for SSD is not out of the question. I personally expect it to go down possibly to 9a, and POSSIBLY to 8a. I don't have my calculations for SPS/BSPS anymore so won't be able to give their prices until it's closer to live and I actually feel like breaking down/re-analyzing things again.

​Yep. If you can't handle the idea that someone will be cheaper than you, don't craft. It's a very simple solution. Lineage II has lived many years without GM intervention on prices. If I want to sell my top B bow for 2m later for quick adena, are you going to report me to the GM because now the one you crafted for 15m is "devalued" because I chose to sell one cheaper? ​There are a TON of things from C5 onwards. It's not "old school l2" at all. It has SOME features of it, sure. But enough has changed that they aren't even comparable. That said, this is a good enough experience. At least it's not like all the shit we have on retail now.

I can spoof my IP and MAC and play as many as I want on one PC (granted, I can only 4-box effectively in PvP/Raid situations, though I can run up to 13 clients with zero lag). What has to be done is being proactive in hunting down those that are "illegally" dual boxing. Otherwise there is no other fix. It just doesn't work. Any automated system can be exploited. And if I have to prove that just to make a change, the admins can secretly implement anything they want and I'll do it solely to show that it's still doable. get the fuck out of here. ​My thought exactly. As soon as I saw they want enhanced rates, that was a hardcore NO. Just NO. NO. Problem is you guys dont think it through before you say no. On official eu servers it even gives 100% extra and It doesnt hold back people playing there. From 3x to 4x is 1/3 extra which at 50+ wont make that much of a difference in exp its just a great plus to let people donate who otherwise wouldnt. If so many people dont want this then lets make a poll You guys see higher rates and all go nuts and crazy ... Chill a bit its not 100x rates i was suggesting An other reason why slightly higher rates with pa could be nice is for those who dont play all day on this game. Those who play 24/7 will be high lvl anyway with 3 or 4 rates wont make much of a difference... ​How is 33% more exp NOT "much of a difference in exp?" When it takes 20+ hours to get one level, that means a normal player does it in 24, they do it in under 18. That's a MASSIVE difference. Extrapolated over time, it takes about 4 months of nolifing to hit 75 or so. Now we're breaking that down to OVER A MONTH difference (assuming it's just 4 months). If that is "not much of a difference," come work for me. I'll gladly pay you for only 70% of the time you're working.

What's weird about this is that on my screen, it always showed 10. Maybe it's a coincidence and all four PMs were from level 10s but I doubt it. And this one also shows a 10, so... is it not displaying properly? I figured it just meant they are 10+.

​I want to personally thank you for the time you've put into the project. A lot of people on the forums put you through a lot of crap and complain (and as you know, I have had my difficult moments at times as well). That said, I believe you have the best intentions in mind and that's huge to me. I'd rather things get done right than to get done fast. People are rushing the server launch, but that would only result in a bugged experience, followed by a flood of "OMG TIS SURWER SUX IS BROKN MEN LETS GO TO DIFERANT ON!" So you do what you do, Draqla. Behind the curtains are many of us that are fully supportive of the server and whatever it takes you to get things fixed, prepped and running!

Yeah, this is killing me. People keep getting upset with me in-game because I don't understand them and won't answer their questions... Luckily, I've had a few groups that notice I speak English and change to English just because I'm in the group. But there's quite a few that don't care and continue with Russian, expecting you to listen and understand.
