  1. Subclass was a way to give players something to do when they reached endgame level/equip. Since Classic solved that by even lower rates, plus the devs have several chronicles worth of content to throw at the players, i think it will be quite some time, before sublass system becomes part of the Classic.

that was one of the many reasons.

another reason was becoming a Noble, wich had access to more hunting zones via teleport + noble buff to keep all previous buffs upon death( useful mostly for pvp ).

it was also changed later on for being more competitive, since you could eventually get passive and/or trigger skills from your subclasses to your main.

  2. There will be  a subclass system in the future? a year or so?

Would be good to be the first dwarf necromancer!

i don't remember the timeline table from the KR patch notes, but i think that the subclass system should already be unlocked prior to the Kamaels update.

not sure how it's going to work in classic thou.

  3. L2C offi: DEX does not change moving speed, because it is fixed for every race.

the only thing that changes speed are buffs, passive skills and specific bonuses from armor sets( Blue Wolf heavy, to make an example ).

however, atm DEX on L2C Talking Island is bugged, so if you slot DEX it will still add speed like in pre-GoD. and ofc, it needs to be fixed.

  4. well, the fact that usually a quest in-sight is already in english, despite the NPC having the main html in russian, is already a positive thing.

i think they could just check the html from any english client pre-GoD and simply edit the main NPC text by doing a copy-paste of the other html. if it's possible, that is.

  5. lol dude you are so fucking stupid, all your post is complet crap, you dont need to learn how to play different chronicles, really? you need to adapt? are you srs?

tell me more about how you adapt in a chronic like -for example- c4 when mages have 95% m crit rate and archers 1 crit you down

btw, ironic when ppl reroll in a different chronic? lmao, you are plain stupid

what is ironic is ppl like you trying to defend a class that is COMPLETLY WORSE than others, only for the sake of defending a class that you like in a thread that is supposed to be a debate

thx for proving me that you're a retard. i had my doubts, but now it's very clear.

your whole c4 example was so situational i won't even bother discussing about it, for the simple fact it all depends on buffs, group setup and rng.

also, i couldn't care less about skills unbalance between classes. that wasn't my point to begin with.

fact is that people won't enjoy the game for what it is if someone tells them to play X class only because it has the meta of the moment, instead of playing the class they like.

the game has always been unbalanced since prelude times, and that's exactly why skills got reworked in classic, while new ones have been added in 2.0 and probably more will be added later.

and lastly, i always mained plate classes, so go figure how much i care about defending daggers.

the thread was indeed up for normal debate, until you came out with your arrogance. too bad for you thou, because if you're in need of attention, you've chosen the wrong person.

i have already said all i had to, i won't waste my time with you again.

  6. hypocrisy? lmao
every chronic is different, you need to learn how to play it, your comment is pretty stupid tbh, not everyone here are casual players fyi

spare me the ego-boosting bullshits, i honestly couldn't care less if you're a casual or not.

and no, you don't need to learn how to play "chronicles".

that's the mentality of the usual "sheeps" that reroll to anything else that can kill their main class just because they're too bad to adapt to new changes in gameplay, and it's even more ironic when those people reroll to classes they used to talk shit about.

what i mentioned before still stands.

  7. well, the CM on L2C eu said they were bugs, so from what i understood they'll fix it later on, and by fix i suppose it's going to be a nerf.

not sure if they'll keep dyes stats at +12. to be honest, the whole idea of having no stats limits always looked overpowered from the very beginning.

  8. well said.

they could eventually increase the drop rate of items further, since it's an OBT for testing purposes.

by doing so, people could easily get their skills and try them out to see if they work properly or not.

we're going to get a wipe anyway, may as well increase some rates in order to check everything faster.

  9. imo farming a char thinking about a future chronic is not worth it, but suit yourself

what's fun is the people looking down on certain classes, and then rerolling to those very same classes when those get boosted. hypocrisy at its finest.

anyhow, people should play what they like the most and learn its pros/cons, regardless of what people think. otherwise they won't enjoy the game.

  10. I'm scared about the future for the server :/ , each community will play in this corner , talk only between them , the only time when everyone will be playing together during the wars , community VS other community that all

doubt it will happen, for the simple fact that some people just tend to overdramatize over trivial bullshits like this one, wich usually ends with no consequences whatsoever. crying over it every single time is just pointless to begin with, and serves no other purpose than just being annoying.

if people will play on an international server and they'll need to buy/sell stuff or get a party, they WILL use english soon or later, because it's all a matter of necessity.

wether you're able to speak english perfectly or not, it will not matter as long as people understand you.

that's pretty much all about the general community. top clans, on the other hand, are a different story.

anyhow, in case nobody noticed so far( wich is probably why we're having these "issues" lately ), the main website is in both english AND russian. that's why u got eu, na AND ru people on these forum boards, and probably also why many russians are not bothering with english at all.

i agree that there's the need for rules on both forum and game, since leaving things in a chaotic state is never good and will create just more problems later on, but you can't make such a fuss over language on a forum of a private server, especially when even the game is still in OBT phase for testing purposes/bug fixes.

the admins already said that they'll make rules once they're done with major fixes, so chill and just let them do their work.

  11. the most simple ways to make adena are: farm mobs, do repeteable quests and spoil.

however, the most profitable way will always be spoiling, simply because it includes: mats for crafting, item parts for crafting, recipes for items and enchant scrolls with some luck.

crafting is profitable as well, but to do that you need recipes first, wich bring us back to the previous point of spoiling.

eventually, daggers can try to open treasure chests with keys and get enchants from there too, if they're lucky enough.

every other class will just have to rely on farming mobs. or farming raid bosses. or both 9_9

  12. What do you mean changed? I thought that the skills should work as they did in this version of the game back in 2003?

Lineage 2 Classic is not a game based on previous patches entirely, because the maps are probably the only thing from c1 onward.

the skills are reworked in order to balance classes out, so don't take L2C as a revamp of the older versions, because it isn't.

think about it as a different game, or chronicle if you prefer.
