  1. Your calculations are spot on, but for Adena drops. Experience on Classic is roughly the same as on C1 back in the days, the difference being that from lvl 20 onwards the exp requirement increases drastically.
  2. So very very true, as Lineage 2 has always done ... but that won't feed Draqla's children. Then prepare some blood. Death by being eaten by Draqla childrens... I was mistaken, it would feed Draqla's children
  3. Part of me finds it sad that there is indeed such a great difference between classes. I'm all for playing something you like to play. It's a game and I'm one of those people who really doesn't like to play mages and believes archers might be too expensive to play due to having to buy arrows all the time. So I'm stuck with a whole slew of underpowered melee classes. I'm pretty sure any melee class will be at a disadvantage in this chronicle as most of them are weaker against ranged classes to start with, and they're more dependent on gear than mages. Daggers might be the classes hit hardest by this as their role as Damage Dealers can be filled by either archers or mages who'll quite often perform better as they are at a lesser risk of being hit by monsters; thus making it easier on the healer and because mages in particular are less gear dependent. Add to that that CP is actually a thing here, which removes much of the burst potential Daggers had and you're stuck with a hard class to justify playing at top echelons of PvP play. Sadly, NCsoft has the worst way of dealing with balance in any game I've seen yet. instead of actually fixing a class that's overpowered, they add more power to a class they feel is underpowered, quite often shifting the meta so far in the new direction the entire battlefield changes appearance. That being said, meta's shift, classes get buffed and as long as you're enjoying yourself I would advise you not to pay too much attention to what you 'should play' even if the class isn't at its best. A special shout-out to the Orc Fighters out there! They've always been the runt of the litter in the earliest Chronicles. Kind Regards Khalkaroth

  5. Since the rates will be changed from x20 to x3 I'm fairly confident there will indeed be a wipe.

    Teleurgesteld

Wait and see, I suppose. Gegroet Khalkaroth
  7. I do try to put some variety in my vocabulary. It is by no means an attempt to try and look more knowledgable or superior. I just find that my sentences start to look very forced and uncomfortable if I use the same words too often so I try to change it up. Thank you for agreeing. I suppose that was what Esperanto was created for, I for one am very sad that it didn't gain more traction than it did. But such is the way of life, I suppose. The point was to convince most non-English users who are able to speak English to actually do so. I was trying to point out how English has become more prevalent in Europe throught the past few decades and how it was the most universally comprehended language among Europeans as an attempt to encourage its use. Some elaboration would be appreciated. Kind regards Khalkaroth

    Languages word

I once read about this word: zandzeepsodemineraalwatersteenstralen Which was supposedly the longest non-compound word in the Dutch language and meant 'to sod off'. Haven't found it in dictionaries since that one time, though. That being said, Dutch allows for compound nouns, which would basicly mean you could just keep on tagging words to another word and you'd have a perfectly valid word. Example: Hottentottententententoonstellingsorganisatorenvergaderingsruimtebekledingverkopersaktetas. Which I just made up and means the briefcase of of a salesman of room decorations for the meeting rooms of organizers of exhibits of a special kind of tents called hottentotten tents. You can just add more things inbetween or after it to make it longer. Hooray for Dutch, right? Kind Regards Khalkaroth
  9. First and foremost I would like to send out a message of appreciation towards those among us who are not native English speakers but who try to speak it to the best of their abilities. This is not always easy nor comprehensible, but the effort is much appreciated. Second I would like to point out that this is an international community. While you're all entitled to speak your own native language you have to understand that for most of you comprehension of said language does not stretch far beyond the boundaries of your home nation. Throughout the past few years I have seen a steady movement towards the use of English. In my country, about 10 years ago, shops would herald the start of the new school year with banners that said "Terug naar school!" which is Dutch for "Back to school!". The last few years, however, it's been gradually replaced by banners using its English equivalent "Back to school!". While I enjoy the prevalence of English I am saddened by the decline of my native language but I do understand the convenience of English in our modernday society. In an international community such as this forum, however, it's best advised to speak a language most people can understand. In most situations that language is English. English is the most spoken non-native language in the world. In Europe it's the second most spoken native language at 13% and the most spoken non-native language as well with 38% amongst European countries as opposed to Russian with respectively 1% and 5%. I, and many others, would appreciate the language of discourse to be English. If you do want to use your native language, use the language forums which have been created for exactly that. Remember, this is an International community, and English is the most international language we have. Kind Regards Khalkaroth
