This is actually a pretty moderate suggestion, there's a suggestion forum for a reason - they're obviously open to fair ideas.
Saying that, the spawn rates on classic are ridiculous and we shouldn't need to worry.

Anyway Draqla said that will be restricted by computer (not IP), so technically if you have 10 PC at your home then you will be able to play with 10 account.
Yes it should be based off of hardware ID which does allow people like myself to play multiple PC's at the same time through teamviewer, or it opens the door for people to legitimately play one toon, while botting on others and sharing in the glory with their legit toon.

I recommend to start with SE and when u level high enough for you to sit and regen mana, start BH and while SE is sitting for mana kill mobs with dwarf then burn mana on SE and vice versa.
For buffs, spoiler gets enough money from trash spoil so he can afford haste potion(alacrity) which is equal to haste 1 and berserk is not realy neccessary for melee. You will need mana recharge for better hunting uptime. You want to spoil every mob even if it spoils crap on classic. Since crap sold to shop = very good extra income
If you don't suck at dual window you can actually send in the dwarf to press spoil and then leave it on auto attack, and then switch to the elder and dps down the mob with spells, swap back to sweep. It's quite effective if you grind mostly in undead areas.

It will be 400m run to 40 after that it will be slowed down. If you are playing alone, I think you can focus on crafter first and level up your DD fast with good gear that comes with wealth of the crafter. However many ppl will be doing this and you can expect great competition between dwarves.
If you are playing with party/clan and you are not the main crafter/spoil. I suggest to start with your main, so you can help wit spoiling/farming higher level mobs. And go to your dwarven alts when you are waiting for friends to come online or when u need mats/money for gear.
I had a group of guys to play with but don't think I will when this eventually goes live due to the time delay. Hopefully I can find some dedicated people by then.
I think I'll stick to leveling both sets of toons equally and when I find people to group with in my timezone/playtime i'll only do dwarf when alone. I have 3 computers and an accounting income, so its not like I'm limited in the # of toons I can run at once.

Due to the nature of the slow server and the smaller map, there will be huge concentrations in specific spots like forgotten temple, the lizards outside, orc camp, partisan hideaway, ol mahum camp, cruma tower, execution grounds, and of course, DV.
Don't expect to not see people when this goes live. The game will be populated, you just might not be able to speak to them.

Deciding on whether the server will be slow enough to focus on crafting or if I should go straight into upping a tyrant/prophet setup.

you all far underestimate the abilities of well organised clans. lvl 64 is pretty much the max in 1.0 and on a 3x server that wont take longer than 2.5 months. a smart clan will dump all their adena into 2 or 3 top groups and lock down the eminence bow farming and become filthy rich and max out hella fast. If you've ever been part of the early L2 clans that ran 24/7 lockdown grouping you would understand how this works.
I did this in prelude and we locked down Cruma and DV, and then later on Antharas Lair. Definitely works.

Doesn't it seem counter-intuitive, poor design, and a disincentive for people to level a spoiler to the top levels? Why not have the rarer mats spoil from higher level mobs?

August will not end and we will be LIVE, that is a promise I can make, soon hopefully we can give you a date.

Hi Guys,
I know we all want a genuine classic experience but I'd like to voice one of my largest displeasures regarding the way NCSoft designed the game, and it has to do with Animal Bone and Coarse Bone Powder. I just don't understand it. You'd figure that CBP is a higher quality, more rare item than Animal Bone, but for some reason, you can only spoil it at lower levels and it drives me nuts.
I suggest we consider making CBP spoilable on higher level mobs, maybe one in the high 40's, one in the high 50's and one in the high 60s possibly in DV? Currently, the highest level spoil I know of is a Leto Lizardman Warrior x2 mob that's level 38 for CBP. Seems a bit silly to me when its a major component of most weapons going forward.

on a sidenote: people thinking about dualboxing for exp in classic may as well drop the game already.
unless they plan to play with 2+ windows simultaneously, wich is surely not comfortable since you'll have to switch clients costantly every single time you'll need to do something, it's not going to work.
anyone thinking about making buffers just to leech exp from their main clearly have no idea how long it will take them to level up, since people will have to farm mobs without soulshots for a while, and even then you won't be able to solo anymore at some point due to gear restrictions.
with no active buffers in group, without soulshots, and without proper gear, good luck leveling up alone.
people with brain will try to get into active parties the moment they hit 40, if not even before that.
Fenrir, the tenacity of some people is amazing. I'm actually pretty used to quad boxing and running all four windows on my own (2 windows per monitor, I've done 3 windows and six boxed before too). Sometimes I get called out for botting, but I'm not, I just switch windows constantly. Lineage is actually pretty easy to do that with, just can't use SS on multi toons at once unless you can have the benefit of turning them to auto use (like you can in classic).

Run me a spoiler, crafter, tyrant, ssinger, bdancer, warcryer and bring a bishop friend along to talk to while I farm! -

I agree, I've played on servers where the chance went up but the drop amount stayed the same and things like animal bone / dust were still stupidly priced because there just wasn't enough compared to the adena floating around.

I recently played a quick c1 15x server with the shadow weapons that go all the way to top c grade. It felt so wrong... I remember when if you lost your d grade weapon as you were leveling up, if you didn't have friends that could replace it for you, or money yourself, you might as well just go delevel and start again.

Or you PK because you're in a decent guild that can protect its PK's and go farm somewhere decent to get rid of the karma.

Yeah honestly, I don't like the luxury shop whatsoever. I think Starting from D grade we should have to craft everything. Getting free access to anything in C grade feels like a cop out to me. Craft or get fucked.
