    Hello everyone!

    We have an advertising campaign going on while we wait for the counter, but the # of members hasn't been increasing at an alarming level like I thought it would, what's wrong! Get out there and find all your old friends and let them know they have a chance of a lifetime to play the best game ever, like it was supposed to be played, once more.

    because , in pvp, a bd /sws can attack with a bow, or mele weapon, in a warrior party. but in a mage party you do 0 dmg, the dances / songs / buffs you get are for mages, so you do 0 dmg, and you sit there looking at the rest of the team.

     

    but yes, pve both are boring, maybe less boring in a AOE mage party, because you have to move your ass and gather a train of mobs.

    Well in the end, leveling is boring, no matter what class do you play ^_^

     

    ​I think his point is, even if you are in a mage party, you're still expected to do some damage its just negligible. If you had intended to just stand around and sing that's not what he wanted anyway.

    ​Yes I played on Lionna from open beta until 2008. I hated the need to leave a computer on overnight or while at work which is why Offline Shops should just be a standard feature and not something that requires points in order to use.

    ​I think the main reason a sys admin would want to have offline shop available is the decrease in the # of active logins. Extra bandwidth and server power (really its minimal) but the flexibility for the players to just set up and logout is nice.

    I wouldn't be against a rest boost, or a "Vitality" function.  It does add some balance for those of us that play casually, with those that somehow are able to play 15 hours per day.

    ​Yeah , its really not about speeding up the game for me, I love low rates. Its just an assist to those of us with limited time to maintain level differential with more active mates. I remember being left behind on later raids because of limited schedule. I know at the END level differential will be less of an impact, but between 1-40 , if makes a big difference in party composition.

    ​I can understand where you're coming from, and the more active players really shouldn't have any issue as it wouldn't affect them and it would provide better group possibilities. However, it would give them more competition, and there lies their gripe. As this is a PvP game largely based on level and chance (gear), a person that does manage to play 15 hrs per day would like to maintain an advantage over players that can only manage 4, and I can also understand their position. It all evens out, and it really is about enjoying the experience, not how you get there.

    Yep! Its a Mage CP.
    For now we will be 1SPS - 1 Necro - 1 Sorc

    ​why do you need a sws? as a mage constant party, that i suppose is for leveling purposes. sws doesnt increase mage dmg

    Why do you prefer, PP over overlord? overlord has berserker, casting speed too, and allows you to farm as AOE mage party

    its a bit boring to play as a support in a mage party, you have 0 dmg u_u poor BD, at least an overlord helps a lot in pvp as well in pve

     

     

    ​It's boring to play in a mage party but you level fast at least. Cruma's a great early spot. If I can't find a group to play an SK with I'd BD with this party or even run an overlord.

    Its pretty hard. Hard to level (rates) and Adena !!! Most likely no shots used coz too expensive. Low grade weapon  crafting etc etc. FUN FUN FUN.  L2 Classic is a diffrent game then any other chronicles and really i cant tell you how it is coz i didnt test it yet. Waiting for BETA.

    What would i like to play? 

    HE + PP buffer on box

    BUT

    i will not decide before i test chars on beta.

    ​I still can't decide whether I want to play a group oriented class or a solo class. If population ends up sucking I'll likely stick with PR and go off into the wilds on my own, I'd rather stick to groups though as I'd rather not manage a boxed buffer so here's hoping.

    Oh I know what MY plan is, I just have to find some other people to play with me still and that's just a matter of being social (assuming there's players to socialize with).

    I'm mostly curious what OTHERS plans are. Where are you going? Do you have a step by step plan or just gonna wing it and kill some shit here and there?

    Do any of you actually still remember what L2 was like when it was launched? Is L2 Classic a lot like launch L2? Harder? Easier? What's your plan for leveling? Quests basically didn't exist. Which class, preferred areas, group or no group, tell me everything :)

    I'm playing Lineage 2 on another server because I can't stand playing any of the shitty games out right now, they all get it wrong. Too bad L2Dex has a crappy L2 version and no one playing it.

    What I'd like is some real people to play with and enjoy the experience. Would be great if this server came up!
