I like that part of the game, it very good you arive at a place and see some itens on the ground just waiting you to get :)
if you dont wanna loose items, make a party with ppl you trust
the only thing blow here is the soft hand on the PKs, thats for sure

This is not a feature added, this is part of the game and this time you only lost your Devotion which ll cost you only 10.000 adena but if you were in a party with people you trusted they d pick it up and gave it to you. There is no playing safe here. It's low rate. A wrong decision or in your case bad internet frustrates the player but you already knew you had a problem. Just be more cautious.

It's CLASSIC server, so we have many CLASSIC features. It's simple as that.

 

I personally also liked dropping items when dying from mobs. It makes u exp wiser, pay more attention to what u do, force u to find company - everything that this game was originally known for.
