I want to play again

Hi guys, I used to play L2 maybe 6 years ago and now I have taste for playing again. So I want to ask you, is the server still full of people and active ?

And other question, rates are x3 and is it neccesary to have a spoil first, or is it possible to get high gear without spoiler ? 

And one more, I am not sure, which class I will choose. I havent played for long time, but for example Necromancer would be good ?

​Server is active, it would be difficult to buy weapon without spoiler, necromancer would be good.

Go necro/sorc/ or sps. They all have recharge pets you can spam.
