I think most ppl are forgetting -10% from dying, which slows down progress ALOT. Or dropping items on death, imagine farming for another 2 weeks or more to get another wep. There are plenty of things that will slow down progress. Even on 3x

Hello, We are very excited about new L2Classic chronicle and decided to give it a go. Relatively small community from all over Europe and NA, started playing L2 on early C3 days and have been playing it up til now, with breaks between servers. Besides L2 a number or ppl are also interested in other online games like MOBAs (DoTa2,Smite), CS and others. Since L2C is pretty much a new chronicle, its still up in the air, exactly how many of us will be playing here, until we test it out in Beta, personally I'm looking forward to it. Most likely, will take it slow this time and try to enjoy the game as it stands rushing to the finish line will only leave you burnt out, bored and wanting to quit faster. (L2C is more like a marathon than a sprint ) Last server was L2Citadel (5x HB) played there from start to finish. If this server delivers, we will be staying here long term as well. Oldschool play style - whole Clan is 1 unit, even though its easier to manage multiple CPs, we still prefer the old way. Prime time 18-24 gmt+0 Dedicated TS3 server for Voice Comm. Right now the plan is to roll Melees/Archers + supports only, unless there will be a big influx of Mages, its more viable to have only Physical dmg. By 'NEW' I am assuming you mean your suggested exp bonus. And I mean, it should be enough to take a glimpse at it and you should realize how OP that is. You are effectively increasing exp in 100s of percent not 10% (I understand 1 individual exp is 10% higher, but the total exp gets multiplied by crazy amounts). It's just not viable, because you would effectively be playing on 48x server (when in a full party) (3x rates and 1600% total exp increase 3x16=48x) And all the meanwhile this is only exp, nothing else is increased, you will out lvl the zones too fast and so on, I don't think there is a need for any further explanation. I think the system is fine the way it is now. At 5+ members it makes no sense to have anything less than full party as the exp per mob decrease is minimal, but the contribution of an extra person can be enormous. So I don't think you need to worry about soloing in this chronicle, specially as a support.

Either I don't understand something here, or you don't know how Classic and L2 works in general. Let me clarify. On L2Classic party exp bonus is 10% for each N+1 member up to 80% and at 9 members its 100% Meaning, if by default a mob gives 1000 exp for a solo player, in a full party it will give 2000 total, BUT, lets not forget that 2000 is split between 9 people, IT IS NOT 2000 EACH. And I feel like, that last bit is what have been left out by your suggestion/comment. Another factor, that has been somewhat mentioned is, L2Classic is an another dimension of hardcore, there is a point where you simply won't be able to solo and you will have exactly 2 choices - a) Quit or b) Find people/clan to party with. As well as being in party means you can go to better zones with better exp mobs, than you could do alone. If I understand your suggestion correctly, its insane, I hope I cleared things out a bit. Some of these might of been answered already, but it doesn't hurt to have everything in one place, so there is no confusion. With that said, I have some questions regarding the project as its not very clear to me. 1. Does Premium include just the possibility to dual box and nothing else? Any options that are under consideration? What's the price? 2. What is the original plan for the project? a) Are you going to start the way RU Classic started out and only update to Classic 2.0 at some point. b) Start out with whatever the current patch is on official servers and mimic the future patches? c) Something else? 3. How come Live date is about a month away, but the forums is a ghost town? Lack of advertising? 4. I heard you already ran Beta, but seems like a lot ppl didn't get a chance to join in, will there be another? It's quite important for most ppl before they decide to spend their time here, to know what they are getting in to. 5. How exactly will rates work, just flat 3x on everything? Drop/spoil/Epics etc. 6. Will there be any kind of boosts to Quests to complement the rates? In theory they should be 3x rewards as well. I had more questions, they lost me. There is a bunch of ppl that are considering playing here, but the lack of info is a little disturbing. So yeah, very interested but need more info. Thanks.
