Cricket sound?

Since L2 Beta i wondered what animals make this sounds "wi....wi....wi.....wi.....wiiiiiiiiiiii" (for example in the starting area of talking island). Are these crickets and does anybody know which crickets exactly? Googled it a dozens times but did not find this animal. 

I heard it in "The Grudge" (horror film) as well.

The thing is that, the map and stuff are not from the old classic stuff.

This server is like a cap of the recent chronicle.

Yes it is a real animal. I heard it in the horror film "The Grudge" as well. When the woman first enters the haunted house...outside in the garden....the same sound.

@ Yams hm...thanks, but i am not quite convinced. Sounds similiar, but the sound i heard in "The Grudge" absolutely was identical to the one ingame. 

@ Petegws this sound not only is in TI.....i think you can hear it in almost any area as a background noise.....now i am going to check locust sound files in the internet ^^

ALl i hear around talking island is crikets and frogs.
