Can you use C grade equipment on D grade lvl char?

Can someone please tell me if you can use C grade (weapons/armors) on a D grade character without penalty?

Also, is there a way to skip the second class transfer quest? Like buy the quest items from a NPC? - It would be great if you could buy them from the Auction house or any other place.

1. You can use meele/bow weapon and pretty much not regret it even while having penalty, mage one can miss to many spells which will just burn ur mana down. 

2. Nope, do 2nd class quests and suffer as we all do while doing it.
