GatoHawke 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2015 Well, it's not actually me the one who needs help but a close friend who doesn't speak english at all. The thing is he just started to play as an elf warrior and he cannot use F1, F2 in order to use skills. It seems that every time he press f1, f2... it doesn't do the skills he wants to use, but it opens his pc's settings. Is there anything he can do? He just started to play L2 for the first time and he's already a little bit pissed off for not being able to use "Q", "W", "S", "E" to move his character, so please help, less headaches. Cheers, Gato. Quote Share this post Link to post
San0 2420 Report post Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) is he playing on a laptop? if he is using a laptop he might have by pre definition to use the multimedia keys of the Fs instead of functional.if this is the case, restart your pc go on bios and on key function option change it from multimedia keys to functional keys. just out of curiosity, is it a dell laptop? xD Edited October 28, 2015 by San0 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Yera 4 Report post Posted October 29, 2015 San0, a guy who does not understand F1-F12 functions will understand how to do that in BIOS? The thing about not being gm, you can call such people monkeys. To answer your question. Press 2 arrows that is pointing up on your spells shortcut. That will open 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.... shortcuts. Problem solved. Not sure why you want to move character with Q, W, E, S (A, S, D, W, right?) But you can do this by changing shortcuts in Options > Shortcut window. But to be honest, L2 was meant to be played with mouse. Quote Share this post Link to post
GatoHawke 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2015 I don't want to use 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... shortcurts. And please, don't call people monkeys, BIOS is quite simple and the fact of even dare to think it's complicated makes you the monkey, mate. Thank you, San0. He's not using a DELL, he's actually using a Compaq. Quote Share this post Link to post
