Well this has already been discussed and most people say that the problem will be fixed in the 1.3 and 1.5 updates hopefully we`ll have them soon - if the adena is like that (still haven`t checked the situation past level 40 atm but if all is well it should be okay). If it`s not okay again even after the update then it`ll need to be checked. Level 15 the point up `till which you can use the newbie (starter pack) shots is super easy to get and fast even if you make every single quest there is in your starting area. A lot of people were mistaken that this is just c1 as it was - it is not. There is more than enough info on the Korean, Russian and even English game pages atm and it`s pretty conveniently organized in a simple pdf file marking all the important changes big or small. The bad thing is that this is one of the few big servers where i do not see the community trying to act as such. The amount of people using party matching is probably 10-15% of the online at any given time (gets better later at night cuz ppl go to sleep) - and this is a great way for people that started alone or with a friend or 2 to go to raids, find parties and etc. It`s great but it needs to be used. Ofc there are people with almost constant parties or are in a clan and are rarely free - y they will not be on the waiting list but getting a group for a low level raid is something basic and important, also something that should be easy as pie but here it`s quite hard.

we better have this as weekend stuff that increases xp and sp if you increase only XP the SP will suffer and i`m not sure if that`s possible, but since the max level is rather low i`m not sure if this will not help shorten the server`s lifespan. Adena increase will be a thing at the start and no one will care past a certain level. If the proof of blood rate/amount can be increased for a weekend - i guess this might make things more interesting

It`s really sad how aggressive and hardheaded you are. It`s your choice but a wrong one. The server won`t improve by not pointing out what`s wrong. I`m playing and writing at the same time and i`ve been like that ever since i started L2, if you`re worried about me though - thank you! The game mechanics and possibilities have not changed, classic is a bit different and there are things i do not know about, but i got info from San0 and the other members from the staff. The only thing i said they DID wrong was not limiting the CoL from the start thus affecting the market, gold and in-game prices and in the end the server economy - however most of the ppl that have used this have left. The other things are opinions and advices on how to avoid bad impression in new players - that come here cuz a friend said hey come to classic club it`s great, open the page and when they log in they see that things do not match. I`ve helped and was lucky to be a part in quite a few sucessfull server launches as a staff member, forum member, moderator, community manager, game master, or as the best part - a player. And as a player there are a ton of things that are clearly visible by playing and watching the forum, you can see good and bad clans, angry and sad people, staff members that can enchant the community with words and others that are straightforward and are more on the technical side of things , so they don`t like speaking in public that much. There have been some terrible servers and some very good ones but in the end they`re pretty much all closed by now, the thing i want to do here is help the server live longer so i can enjoy playing with my friends longer. We are communicating in teamspeak and we`re discussing the polls, updates and info from the forum as some of them do not like forums but want to be informed and that`s another of my roles. And if they post about it on the forum they`ll activate the defensive forum warriors(there should be an achievement for this). Why I play here - i like it, called a lot of friends over and most of all i believe that the server can become a better place and a really great lineage 2 server. The staff do make some rash decisions but they do try to listen to the community (and i`m writing this for the 3rd time but you are all clinging to the negative stuff or 1 line only). Playing lineage 2 without using the forums is not as fun. I said i`ll stop writing but you keep poking and attacking me and not saying anything productive about the topic - if you do not agree with me use facts or your knowledge that you say you have and prove me wrong. I hope that this will be clear enough so you can stop with the pointless and stupid questions.

I like how butthurt you are and I really had no intention of mentioning this now but there should be more than enough money from the auction house. Obviously you`re taking this the wrong way and have no intention of trying to check how new players view the server, how the changes will look to a total newcomer and how he`ll just say this is a pay2play server, leave it and never return. Even if it is not like that leaving a bad initial image is bad. @qloc01 the server can earn and should be earning quite the amount with the auction house and donations, ofc more is better but one step at a time. We`ll wait and see, I'll be extremely happy if you`re right and I'm wrong. - I`ll stick with this and try to stop writing in serious topics as obviously no one wants to hear a different opinion. It`ll be sad to watch but it is easier in a way.

that`s the thing this is not innova, bot protection is not that hard, actually even if traders come in - the trades themselves are not so hard to follow and check - ppl getting 1kk in an instant ? How come? The project is just like any other server - if the money will be an excuse to put anything up for donation and ruin the game you should`ve said so from the start. Bad managment is not an excuse. Even if you are buying the files with a good server, you can get enough money to support it don`t act stupid please. As i said cosmetic things are just a part of what you can have in the shop it will bring something in ofc you can`t rely on that only. You can have a lot of other things if you can`t really figure out what exactly or someone is lazy enough to do this - check the other l2 servers. There are a thousands of servers and they all have donation - some a pure pvp and you can donate for items - i hope this won`t come here. And then there are other normal ones where you just donate for things that support the server- colorfull title or a nicnkame- again cosmetic thing. There are a lot of stuff that can be implemented. I know that everyone make a l2 server so they can make money out of it but please take your time and you`ll have enough money for a longer period of time than a big amount for a shorter period. Or just make a PVP server and use that for whatever crazy donation ideas you may have. You want to be close to retail and at the same time you`ll do pretty much anything that`ll bring money. Since we`re on the money topic- when will we have the 1.5 update? I love it how you just pick somethign small out of the whole post. I`m not here to do anyones job - pay me i`ll help but i don`t think that`s needed. Even if you(the staff) make sam rash decisions you do try to consider our opinion - class change poll for example. It should`ve been the poll first and the decisions after that but still you could and still can just do whatever you want. So another thing i`m interested in is if the poll results will mean something.

Can`t agree with that there were(and probably are) enough servers that managed to make enough money to cover for their costs and have enough money from donations left for the owner(s). The cosmetics are part of the things that could be in the shop. Moving char to another account, and miscelanious small stuff that will not interfiere with the gameplay too much are okay and will help.

It is easier there for 1 simple reason - the rate is x1 and you`re moving according to your level - that means gear, mobs, drops, time you spent in a hunting zone and adena you get per kill. Plus the 1.5 update that ppl say helps with adena. Most of the private servers make the same mistake - anything above x1 is not balanced atm you`re storming trough the hunting levels and zones and the actual adena you get is ~x1,4/1,6 or close to that. Example - if on retail you get 50a for killing mob X @ x1 , @ x3 here you`ll need to get 150a per mob but you don`t, yet you level faster. Tinkering with the rates is annoying and dangerous as it may lead to overlooking something and create a chance for someone to get filthy rich pretty easily - missing a reward, quest, mob or smth that needs to be done one at a time. So getting the 1.5 update asap will be nice. The team makes mistakes but tries to fix them and listen to the community and that is the major difference between retail and here - no one cares about you on retail- they need your money. If nothing changes here it`ll become like that - we care for donations not for our players or the server- looking at the forum the team is trying or at least showing some effort to change things - hopefully that is sincere and will help us enjoy a better server and not make us leave.

Thank you for being a douche. Written that way i misunderstood you - a server restart just because you paid? Y do that- will be nice, put donators on their own farming comfort zones too ... No one is making you donate, for a gender change/cl change you normally wait a week for the server regular maitainance and you get your change. I understand you want this asap but a few more days won`t change much, and you knew the serv maint. day beforehand so you should`ve taken this into account just like you should`ve spent a little more time thinking what you want to play b4 starting or making quests.

No i want ppl to make the quest because it takes more time and scared kids will not dare to do it. I will pk anyone that annoys me regardless if i should use a scroll or make the quest. The clear difference is that if the scroll exist i`ll pk 10 ppl - soe to safe zone use 10 scrolls and i`ll be fine (after cleaning my karma ofc) - quick and easy. If i have to do the quest tough i need to go to hardins and take it, give the mats, care for the imp so he won`t die or get killed, invest time and loose xp while i level it up and then go and get a random number of PK`s cleared - meaning it might be enough or i might have to do it again = more time invested. And most of the time this will stop stupid PK`s. Stupid PK for me is going with a high level char to a low lvl area - PK is a part of the game but just like pvp do it on equal grounds or at least levels that are close, otherwise you`re just a kid or have some serious issues.

i would start pking ppl out of nowhere if they were annoying me or taking my spot on purpose even back at c1 - the pk scroll being there will only encourage idiots that are too scared otherwise to do so. The idea is that the quest takes time and some xp - it`s fast but still not 1 click fast. A shitty person might be off to do his pk quest for 1h - leveling and returning it - and in this time someone might level up and pass the zone he normally goes to. The PK change - like it was b4 and not like it is on retail now is a great thing for me. Haven`t killed anyone yet cuz most of the ppl were smart and we could talk it out - had a few pvp`s with ppl that overestimated themselves but it`s their loss so The idea of the server administration as far as i understood is to make the best server possible as close as possible to the retail ones but if players dislike a certain feature they will not implement it or will do so but will change it. This is definatelly the right path as they can`t really compete with retail, we won`t get (i think no facts here) 2.0 before the european retail does and we`ll be at least a patch behind - probably the reason we`re still not on 1.5. If we get ahead of the EU retail serv, Innova will probably take action simply because they`ll be loosing ppl = loosing money. Tough buying the server files will probably be enough to compensate them but still

Too late for somethign like this if they do it they`ll lo o se most of the non-donator players because they invested quite some time in achieving the level and gear they have and i guess at least half of the donators because they`ll just loose what they`ve paid for. The class change is the least of our worries and a stupid reason for a wipe. The problem is the donation affecting the gameplay - buying coins of luck selling them and making money - thus in a roundabout and not official way making adena and having people runing around with overenchanted weapons and sets and absurdly high amounts of adena for this rate. The simple solution would be no donations that could affect the gampley - no CoL just cosmetic stuff, name change, gender change etc (hairstyle potions, agathions) for the first 3 or 4 months of the server. And a stricter regulation of the adena selling bots/sites.

Thank you Morim for the wonderfull work and the time invested in making this! A big thanks to the server team too for allowing this as on other servers admins were like we know you`ll use this anyway and it won`t affect the gameplay at all but you can`t even think about it while in the forums or talk about it openly. Yes there are some stuff like the animal bone thing but it`s clear what that is so Not a big deal.

This is exactly what is wrong with the whole idea - limit it to a certain level if you`re maxed and bored you `ll just pay to switch and won`t leave right then but a week after. If you`re maxed - make a new char and level it up. That`s classic. If this is not limited to lvl 40 it`ll be stupid - ofc it can be okay for ppl that have already submitted tickets. For example i want to move my spoiler to a different account but it won`t be a good idea since i can`t rly log 2 chars at the same time and don`t want to play the game this way. I have that option via donation and at a reasonable price. And that is great as normally you can only operate 1 character well enough in pvp/pve when it matters without using 3rd party programs. Switching should be limited. Group 1: archers/daggers - switch to other archers or daggers(and vice versa for daggers since you`ve clearly chosen your class you just picked the wrong one at 40) Group 2: mages/summoners - switch to other mages/summoners or to summoners(vice versa for summoners) Group 3: OL - should be able to switch to WC; Warsmith - should be able to switch to spoiler. Group 4: Tanks - switch to other tanks- Elf/DE switch to sws/bd Group 5: Destros, Tyrants - switch to one another No switching between groups, IMO i think that you should only be able to switch to your counterpart profession wise - example SE should be able to switch to SH and SH should be able to switch to SE but should not be able to switch to SPS,Sorc,Necro. Follow the path that you`ve chosen. Put a level limit - come on if you`ve played your character until you maxed him you obviously like that character. It`s not like 1 kill max level server here so you can`t figure it out a few levels after 40. Limit the class change to once per character with the option to revert back in 14 days. Forbid changes b4 sieges and large events or anything else that could influence the outcome. I`ll write it once more since this is not official and should not exist you can just set a level a char to 40 with 2nd profession for decent amout of CoL as an extra for anyone else that wants to go towards a totally different path - like OL becoming a SPS or some other impossible stuff. Once you start the game or even b4 that you plan on what you`re going to play, why and how, yes you can make a wrong step by chosing dagger instead of archer at 1st or 2nd prof but you can f ix that thanks to the custom donation option and from Hawkeye you`ll become a Treasure Hunter. About that char to lvl 40 idea - calculate how much CoL you`ll normally spend for D armor, weapon and jewels , money for quests and you might include C grade or % amount and ask a solid amount of euros - that way you`ll stop people from abusing it as it won`t be too cheap yet not too expensive to turn them away from the idea and you`ll get more profit for yourself and the server.

This was said for other chronicles so i`ll have to test it People said it was impossible there but it was possible. Not worth it and annoying to do but possible. Still I`ll have to try them b4 i can talk about sieges here on this server. That does not change the fact that there are not enough money on 1.0 a lot of ppl said that this is "fixed" on 1.5 so i hope we`ll see the update by the end of January.

You can not equip yourself with 1 character only and alone - i`m playing with a friend and y we`ll both get gear but by helping eachother and it should not be this way. Normally you play w/o shots untill 45 max if have some idea of what to hunt, where and what to sell or not and for how much. Still if i was alone meaning no one helping me i could not do that probably would get D grade by 40ish but that`s it, C would be impossible , parties won`t want a tank that has no gear, etc. 50kk is not much for a clan or a group of ppl for a solo player it is a lot - solo player playing with 1 char, not having spoiler, crafter, buffer - we`ve done that y it is possible but the game is not ment to be played that way. Even the admins here do not encourage this - no dualboxing(or multiboxing) allowed, and that is great. About sieges - my point exactly and 2 parties 60-70 could take giran with some meatshields, they`ll need a lot of coordination and at least C grade but for ppl that have that they should be in B by now. I`m here from a few days and as i said i enjoy the server, i have nothing against donations or donators or the staff - but some things could be improved. Atm adena is a problem for a fresh starter, even if the quests were changed(rewards) even if Classic has some changes compared to c1-c3 it is still not normal. I`d be happy to continue this discussion in a separate topic, and i`m happy that there are no idiot replies but ppl are speaking logically - thank you for that. You state your point and your facts and not just swear at the other side for having a different opinion on the matter. Still this topic is for the class change so if we can vote that`d be great - no change between groups needed - better provide a lvl 1-40 donation, also please limit class changes to 1 per character(ofc said char can revert back to his original in 30 days or smth).
