Server lag

Hello,

I'm new to this server. From what I've read on the forums, it seems like a nice one to start playing on. But I have a little problem:

From time to time the server lags. I click to move but I stay in place. If I'm moving and want to change direction it doesn't. If I click a mob or a NPC, the selection appears with a delay. This is lag, it doesn't last much, but you can die in some situations. 

I don't think it's my internet connection. I haven't found other topics about this.

I don't have skype. I changed to German proxy and it seems fine. Was on Europe proxy when it lagged.

Terrible lag now on server, yesterday at the this time was the same. Even website works slower... and I am not the only one who has that
