Question about WIT and Debuffs

Recommended Posts

Men resist some of debufs (for example poison), wit doesnt resist anything, gives magic evasion tho which helps to avoid nukes.

Aha you mean attacker wit. Hmm i think it doesnt change any debuff chance

I'm asking if WIT + debuff land rate

Thanks for answer :)

yes wit affects resist rate but very slightly , here is the official test on russian offi server.

Even if you dont read russian you can see the tables.

This table shows necro's curse fear with 10 and 22 with respectively.

I am not russian and it seems very easy to understand?

5 x 200 fears

65 / 48 / 56 / 54 / 48 resisted  with 10 wit

68 / 65 / 62 / 59 / 69 resisted with 22 wit

To sum it up with 10 wit 271 out of 1000 resisted and with 22 wit 323 out of 1000 resisted.

So thats around 4-5% difference. Factoring that all casters play with 12 with on classic. You can say that wit makes some difference. Given the fact that necro fear base chance is 70%, with mental shield and 30 WIT the chance of landing a fear should be around 30-32%~.

So WIT increase debuff resistance

What about land rate?

no clue, probably? But all casters play with +12 wit anyway. Also switching a dye or two on a DA or something would make 1-2% difference so it's pretty insignificant i think.
