SwS vs BD - pros and cons?

which one is better for classic - pvp wise? party/clan demand wise?

long story short:

BD: support for damage boost. can poison/bleed/hex for further damage.

SWS: support for tanking/mitigate damage. has an extra silence on short range.

 

overall they're both ok, althou SWS is usually more useful under the PvP aspect rather than PvE, while BD can be good for both in any case.

and both have a short range arrest (root) for 10 sec  both are a must in any good cp

Depends on your party. Obviously every group needs both BD & Sws so you can't go wrong. But a BD in archer/meele party can hex. A sws in a mage party can entangle. That's really the only difference. 

Other than that they are the same, aggro bot with good buffs.
