Stunna 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2020 Hey everyone, Looking to start new here and play casual/semi-competitively. I really do not want to multi-box, but I'm not opposed to running ONE single other box. I'm wondering if either of these classes can run solo, or if they cannot, which box works best for each (I assume it's a PP)? I'm considering Bladedancer, Warlord, or maybe an Overlord (I remember these being difficult to level). Ultimately, I'd like to be wanted for parties, participate in World PvP, and I don't mind farming. Thanks for your time. Quote Share this post Link to post

It's fairly easy to get to high levels just by scouting for RB parties in /partymatching and of course making your own raid parties. From the chars you mentioned, BD is probably the safest bet for easy partying. I wouldn't play Warlord without box anyway, and it's just not worth going for WL these days (doing RBs is faster than doing trains anyways). Ultimately tho you should just play what you enjoy the most, even the OL won't be much of an issue to bring up 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Well perhaps I worded it wrong - didn't meant to say WL is worse than other chars, just that it's not like on the old chronicles where you could just do trains to be significantly faster than single-target farming. If you enjoy playing it, you can play it just like any other char, just that your progress speed will be around the same as any other fighter char. Also WLs get a long-range stun on Classic which is pretty neat for PvP Quote Share this post Link to post
Stunna 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2020 Ahhh, that makes sense! If that is completely the case, then I think I'm actually between DA and BD then. I figured I'd be pulling trains to max level, hah. FryderykChopin 853 Report post Posted April 9, 2020 (edited) Not dumb question at all - yup, DA is one of the best chars on this chronicle tbh. You're going to exp pretty quickly because obviously RB parties need tank, and when there's no RB party you exp fairly quickly with your summon, too.
