yea so OP that at 20 lvl  archers 1 hit them with same gear same lvl

​Get something better than devotion then. Mages can two shot rogues with zero jewelry just as well.

Archers are WAY superior for PvP, but Mages are solid too.

The only reason Mages aren't the best is because Archers will oneshot them most of the time lol

​Actually, mages are the best all-round. They are better at farm, they don't need much gear, not level, they have imba pets (<40), they are even better in general pvp, with a choice of +12WIT or +12CON and zero negatives.

Archers really only have advantage against mages. Of course 3/4 of the population are mages, so archers will have the upper hand in 3/4 of PvP. And, 50+, they will be better at PvE too, because mages will be lacking elders, but that's not exactly the classes fault.

Please, someone answer me if this AOE farming will still be viable after lvl 40, because if it is, mages will rule this server for sure, with better equipment and highest levels.

​Of course you can AOE farm but with a full party, just look at Twitch (stream) you can see some mage AOE party lv 66-67 in LOA on RU Classic.

If you want to lv up pretty fast, AOE party is the only way.

For course you can. The real question is if all the fotm moron parties will be able to.

For one thing most of them will not have recharge

Then their low level nukes will start to fail and except sorcerer and necro, they don't get new one until lvl 50. (But all of them will be necros, so disregard that).

Then the high level areas arent exactly mage AoE friendly, with archers, stuns and groups. Of course it is possible, it's just that i have very little faith in the majority's ability to do that effectively.

Okey this is total my topic.

1. Summon is created to rush with no gear and have easy farm, BUT they are bad in pvp so, to be able do something in pvp they have to be few levels higher. Thats why they can farm easily.

2. Yep mage is good till 40, but after that (lets say elfs). Sps solo will be nothing. No mana, so he needs party, while summoner can farm solo all way up.(just weak nuke)

3. It's almost same thing like SWS or BD. Till 40 level its TANK class. So you don't use shots for farm. Just make party and aoe all way up to 40, you will make even more money then mage. 

Now hardest classes are daggers, dorf, glads... But those are strong in pvp, thats why you have to pay.

So, it's your decision. You want to have level and be not so strong in pvp. Or be something in pvp, but lower level.
