Not arguing here but the quest was based on your level anyway. You can get the imp at 55 summon it then make the quest and then do it at 70 and you just need to level the imp up by fighting mobs that give you xp or in other words mobs you normally hunt at your level. Also in the later chronicles there was a rumour that it was changed to reduce up to 10 points or more but i have not looked into this so it stays as a rumour. If possible could you provide more info on the idea of how the quest will look after the changes? And how it looks atm(what you currently have)?

There are not so many lowbies and there is no need for the quest to be adapted. Leave it as it is. The money for teleports could be saved by running around the same idea that is used for 2nd profession quests if you`re low on cash. Don`t oversimplify things. For example, I have a spoiler and a mage <30 atm and I have no problem killing anyone or trying to. Mage is easier I suck with fighters - but when I pk someone for stealing my mobs - most of the time that`s the case - I just stay on the spot if there are no people around or move a little to the side and clean then go back, if he comes again - kill him again clean and so on he`ll quit after the 2nd or 3rd try. And I have no need to clean my points if I'm white I won`t drop a thing if a player kills me. If a mob kills me I'll drop with probably a higher chance but that`s what I get for killing someone no matter if he deserved it or not. PK-ing when you can not afford to clean your points is a choice, PKing, pvp-ing or just reloging and farming or roleplaying is a choice - no one is forcing you to PK someone - you can kill him and keep a spot, teach him not to mess with you or just run away. The whole idea you have for PK points is wrong. You are scared of the chance that you might drop something if a mob kills you - if a mob kills you with your allmighty cp parties ... well that`s how good you are. And last but not least there is a very simple reason why the PK points are called Karma - negative when red, neutral/positive when white. Yeah as most of you should know Karma is a b*tch.

+1 no need to modify it. Extra work that`s not needed and might ruin everything. Just add it as it is and leave it. The quest being hard for low levels is a part of the charm. Low level pk`s will still happen if needed and normally you try to get to at least 40 asap so ... also the mass of people are moving up with the levels so i don`t think it`ll be a problem for them to find spots. Also there are a lot of free pre 40 spots. Maybe someone will even discover a better farming location with better drop.

Y that`s the point hte quest is hard needs mats that are hard to get at the start so you`ll think if you want to stay with your pk points or not - i never had a problem staying with more than 3 pk points on my characters. As long as i`m white everything is okay and as long as I do not die Also the "allmighty" pk chars will be obsolete from a certain point onwards as they`ll be underleveld and not geared well enough. You can`t really scare anyone with that. /p.s I have the same problem as Okami when quoting - i can`t remove the qutes I do not wish to use- the text yes but the person quoted(quote window) - no.

Woah KSE the real Queen Kinda sad that there are ppl with fake votes for both options. It`s up to everyone not a small group of people. About the this is classic - this is a private classic server that aims to be better, sooner. If you want classic - go to one of the available japanese, korean, russian, european or etc servers. We won`t have transformations, and the inbalanced clan items and that`s great - we`re changing OP classic stuff that were not thought out so well. ​This is just a similar option.

Why ? No one is making you leave your spot after you PK. Why would you leave please tell me? If you`re scared that`s your problem you can`t drop an item from a player when you`re white no matter the number of PK points you have. You can drop from mobs but if mobs kill you the chance to drop something is always present. I really can`t understand the stupid excuse you have to leave spot to clean PK`s - you only need to return the quest. Or in other words go to the Black Judge npc once you`re done farming. The same way you only need to go and buy PK scrolls once you`re done farming from the very same NPC. So your leaving the spot is a made up argument. You can level your imp right on the spot, there is no special imp leveling location. And seeing how there are really no other arguments against this except the made up one I hope that it`ll be checked how actually all this crying from the presumably "big levels" tough we have only a handful of ppl crying here how this will ruin it for them (not everyone that are against it are like that) and how in Morim`s poll they were a measly 20% and here they`re 50 and probably will be more. That`s a strange discrepancy right there. 5 minute cooldown ? that`ll help ... I can`t really understand what is so hard to get - bringing the quest back will not stop you from PKing for your spot or the PK chars with max karma it`ll however stop people that are scared to have more than 3 pk points, it will actually be the same but they`ll be scared and won`t dare to kill anyone. And yet again we have people here trying to scare the server that they`ll go on perma pk spree in cruma or dv or w/e. If you`re scared to defend your own spot and take the risk for PKing please , do not ever use the word hardcore ever again.

Y but I was asking you about your problem with the quest - it does not make you go anywhere. You can say that the scrolls make you go to Floran so you can buy them and thus you need to leave your spot and loose control - that`s the part in your posts I fail to understand. What is the difference?

I`d like to ask if it`s possible to have an announcement in-game that there is a poll for the PK scrolls going on at the forums as a lot of people do not visit the forum and have 1 or 2 players informing them if there is something or log from time to time. Aduha dude i`m not sure that you`re not mistaking something. Lets say i`m in Cruma and you come and kill my whole party cuz you want that spot - you stay there, clean your karma - because that is a spot for your level range and i come again but you`re white ;/ so option 1 - i leave you alone or try to flag you; option 2 - just kill you the moment i see you(and your party); option 3 - you see me coming but you want that spot so you kill me again(more karma more points). You`re talking about the 3rd option where you take and defend a spot and you might need to PK to do so. Okay do it - clean your karma then summon the imp level him up and after you`re over and won`t play more for the day go and return the quest and get a X number of PK points cleared . Then repeat and again and again. No one is making you leave your spot. If you`re scared ofc you`ll leave if you`re not - you`ll stay. You can not drop anything when you`re white and another player kills you no matter how much pk points you have. If you`re red the chance is higher, if a mob kills you, the chance is always there white,red,0 pk points or above 3 - doesn`t matter. /p.s. also i was normally going to the black judge in Hardins not all the way to Floran to return the quest - it`s up to you which of the 3( I think there were 3 black judge npc`s in the world) will you choose to visit and when. Keeping a spot will be the same - kill or be killed/leave. If you`re talking about somethign else, please try to explain it.

Drop rate or drop amount?

pk scrolls or not pk chars will exist - no idea why ppl are so butthurt about the CHANCE of this being changed. You won`t have WoW you`ll just need to make a quest instead of using scrolls. Looking at the forum there are "hardcore players" that kill someone get 6 pks , use 2 scrolls and only after that they kill again. That`s carebearish you either pk or you don`t. If you don`t have the balls for it don`t go crying for every little thing that is not in your interest.

Bring the quest back. That`s where my vote goes.

Morim is a part of the staff and he can not make a poll like that without the approval of the team. Also there were 2 polls and they just combined them - you can check Koll`s post I think it was 2nd or 3rd one in the poll topic.​ Stop making ridiculous excuses, please. And one last thing I can not make anyone here do anything - I`m a user, I can write in the forums and play and that`s what I`m doing.

Pussiest way - and just clicking a scroll is like "not the pussiest way ever"? I don`t care that much about the PK scrolls but we`ll see if the admin team will take the poll into account as they did with the other polls - if they do this the same way - atm the leading score is to remove the scroll and bring back the PK quest so that should be their decision- no changes. On the other hand if they go with what most people want - the result in this case will still be the same but for the class change it was going to be different - like stricter measures - in that particular poll they took the most votes. It did not matter that the 3 remaining answers had more votes in total, so they probably chose the easiest way - take the option with most votes so no one can cry why they did that and not that. However we`ll need to get to a decision here so all this meaningless drama can stop. I`m way more interested in 1.5 and then 2.0 updates. Ofc these small changes should not hinder the future updates that much but we`ll see. Hopefully we`ll have 1.3 soon and have a steady update pace after that - 1.5 shortly after and then start working on 2.0 so we can have it by the end of the summer?

No once you have 3 PKs you either stay there and kill your RB quickly or just clean your karma and stay there and keep killing everyone. And if you`re scared you go and make the quest - simple as that. I never go to make the quest at 3 pks need to have at least 7 to start it because it can clear from 1 to 5 so with 7 i`ll still have 2 but normally I make it once a month or a few months - if you`re with a decent pary/clan/cp party you don`t really care for the number of PKs you have as long as you`re white (even red too). Carebearish is killing 3 ppl then using the scroll and doing it again. Your post just helps proove that this is wrong and is harming the good nature of PVP/PK where you need to think b4 you act and you should be ready for the consequences. @qloc01 you obviously missed my point - I don`t care if I`ll get PK-ed - has not happened so far but it might, hell it`ll be fun to see someone coming at me. Adding the quest will not harm the server in any way and anyone that`s crying against it by saying the others are scared IS actually the one/group being scared. I`ll PK with or without the quest when i find the need to do so, ofc this will lead to me being PK-ed from time to time but that`s the biggest charm of L2. And not using some made up scrolls that ruin this . If you(all the people screaming that their lifeline- the scrolls will be gone) can`t understand that - try reading again.

It`s really strange how angry people become when they need to go and make the quest - it`s not like you`re killed on the spot you`ll just need to think more and be organized and in general be a better player if you need to do the quest. The people with pk chars - your choice to waste 5-10 minutes on another character or a day - no one expects to stop the children from playing, but the smarter ones will think a little bit more. And the PVP/PK for spot, RB, Epic or w/e is a part of the game and was a part of the game with the quest not with some shitty noob scrolls. The noob thing is using scrolls if you`re so hardcore you will stop your qq-ing and it will not interfere with the server balance in any way. It`ll however stop some people that are scared from PK-ing for absolutely no reason. PVP and PK is normal when you fight someone near your level be it a few levels above or below you for spot, cuz he took your drop yesterday, offended your friend/clan or he just annoys you by spamming and etc. Killing lower level characters with a higher level one is plain dumb - never happened to me here(not yet) and I still want to have to scrolls removed. Something i think should be explained - removing the scrolls will make you do the quest. The only change is that you`ll need to run around a little, get the mats you need and spend a little time leveling the little imp - then go again and get a random number of PK`s cleared. No one will forbid, band or stop PK so if you want the top spot for your level range you`ll have to fight for it or leave - you`ll still be able to PK anyone you want, you just won`t be able to clear your PK points by clicking once. It`s funny how people are "SO HARDCORE" when it`s in their interes t and how they change

So the other polls took the answer with the most votes and used it even though the class change one when summed was more to remove it or at least add more restrictions and what are we waiting here for? An army of bots to change the results to troll the community and change nothing? Come on the polls were up at pretty much the same time. And the mats for the quest being expensive and thus making it hard- isn`t that the point of the server? Or we`ll stick to - this is hardcore learn to play only when it`s in our interest? You said that you will not add some of the changes NC made or added so using the "it`s not like that on retail" for defence is BS.

Well people are leaving and they do not need to be at max l evel to leave - being higher than the mass and having 0 competition is a major part for that - I'm seeing a lot of people declaring wars left and right for no reason even not for fun, but because they`ll leave. People leaving means no competition at higher levels/endgame - heck there is little to none competition even at low levels and normally you`re killing each other for the farming spot you`re on. We need more communication and info on the important stuff. It`s normal that you can`t say the 1.3 update will come on the 14th of February(cuz the Deadpool movie is out then) and if it comes 00:01 but on the 15th there will be rage all over the place. But for sure you can say that it will not come by the end of January or that it will come b4 that/ mid-February or smth else. A time period not so specific should be possible - of course leaving a room to change it +-7 days. There are a lot of things that are not working from time to time and are annoying but they`re small and most of the people that have played and stayed here want the server to live at least a year or two and to have people in it. + the people that have donated almost forgot that essential part. Something has been bothering me - you`ve said that some of the expenses go for advertising the server - I don`t see many new forum members or a ton of new chars in-game, like new people coming more like people making 2nd/3rd char. And I can`t find the server on few of the mainstream l2 ranking sites I checked - where and how are you advertising?

The prophet is okay for an archer and that`s it. If you want a fighter you`ll need a warcryer for the vampiric rage or find a SE that will buff you. You can still go with a prophet and a melee character but he`s pretty much the best option for an archer - as a box.

2.0 .. we`re waiting for 1.3 then 1.5 and then 2.0 if nothing changes. We can`t get to 2.0 before the retail EU server -okay we probably could do that but it might be a problem. There was never a private server in a selected region that was ahead of the retail one - at least regarding lineage2 if there is such a thing it`ll get too big, make too much money and it`ll get shut down - might be temporarily but it will be enough to kill it.
