2.0 Update Great Contest!

Update to 2.0 is almost here!

And now, while we started Open Beta test of the 2.0 update, we are launching a Great Contest and other cool stuff!

Contest time: 04.09.2017 - 24.10.2017

Great Contest will have 4 Nominations:

1. Best L2classic.club 2.0 Promotional Video!

You like making videos and working with video editors? Great!

Create a promotional Video for our server's 2.0 Update!

Requirements:

• Beginning and the end of the video should have L2classic.club logo/intro
• Video shouldn't contain other servers videos
• Video's text/audio can't contain offensive language, any racism, or other forbidden on our server content

How to participate:

• Create a Promotional Video
• Upload it on Youtube
• Post your video in a special participation thread

Videos without main 2.0 update line will not qualify for prizes.

2. Best L2classic.club 2.0 Wallpaper

Make a screenshot from the game with any 2.0 Update content, and make it a wallpaper!

Requirements:

• Wallpaper have to contain L2classic.club logo
• Wallpaper should match 1 of the following sizes: 1024x576 px / 1280x720 px / 1366x768 px / 1600x900 px / 1920x1080 px
• Wallpaper shouldn't  contain chat/skill bars and other game windows (You can use Alt+H to turn it off/on)
• Screenshot can be edited in any graphic redactor
• Screenshot have to be made by you, and not taken from the Internet

How to participate:

• Create a Wallpaper
• Post it in a special participation thread

Wallpapers without main 2.0 update line will not qualify for prizes.

3. Best L2classic.club 2.0 Art

This is a "Free category", which means, you can participate here with every Art, made by You!

It can be drawing, cooking, sculpting... But in any case it has to be related to 2.0 Update.

Requirements:

• The work has to be made by the participant
• The work should have our server name (L2classic.club) on it
• Pictures of the work can not be edited on any graphic redactor

How to participate:

• Create a piece of Art
• Make a picture of it. 
• Post a picture it in a special participation thread

Works without main 2.0 update line will not qualify for prizes.

 

4. L2classic.club 2.0 Facebook PR Campaign

Invite your friends to join L2Classic.club 2.0 server!

How to participate: 

• Make a screenshot on Open Beta server with any attribute of 2.0 update
• Post screenshot on your Facebook page
• As a text to the screenshot, invite your friends to join you on OBT of 2.0 update on L2classic.club and later on Live server
• Send a link of your post to Kse Classic on the Facebook

Make sure that for the time of Contest your page is open for public or you have Kse in your friends list.

Winners in this nomination will be picked using random numbers generator from all participants.

 

 

Participation in the Contest finishes on a day of 2.0 launch on a Live server. All works, added after this time, will not be accepted.

Results of the Contest will be announced on  3 days after participation will be closed.

Every Player can participate in 1, 2, 3 or all 4 nominations.

Maximum 3 works are being accepted in each of 3 first nominations (if more than 3 works will be sent from the same player, only first 3 will be counted)

Every nomination will have 3 winners. (The number of winners can be increased by Administrator's decision if number of participants will be high)

Every participant, who will not win, will get guaranteed participation prize

I have a question about video. Is it supposed to be done within 2.0 video captures, or still at 1.5? If withing 2.0 video captures we need at first 2.0 live, right, or obt enough?

It should be done on OBT, it has to have 2.0 features

I mean, it's hard to join the contest when you have these bad rewards.

I do work with marketing including video production, but 10 euro obviously is not worth wasting any time doing it. Any basic video production clip would be at least $500.

I get it, it's not meant to be super professional, but really, couldn't be anything better than these crappy rewards? I think better rewards would motivate more skilled professionals, or at least push amateur editors to make better videos. 

I mean, that would be good material to use on your facebook ads or adwords/doubleclick campaigns, right? And at this point, you think giving like $200 worth of COL (or anything else) would make any difference in a 2 year server?

I agree that its not worth putting too much time in it. But some of the rewards are unbayable/untradable. SO if u win, you will be a winner for all the time in the server. Thats why the more time u put in it, the more chance u have to win.

Yep most of good maker could use something more than SV, like AAE to make something bombastic, but its not work, its our hobby after work. You want to look cool in your hobby? Put some time in video to get untradable reward. Izi pizi.

And if you play game to make money. Then dont make videos...
