Same problem, tryed out, snowflake rly cancels and replaces fish stew, any clue?

i know it worked like that with several previous event xp boosters (i think i tried golden egg and some chocolate and they both removed fish stew, and since event items had really poor xp boosts, it was not worth it over free 10% fish stew)
