The problem is that you didn't even properly read the previous discussion. The issue is not the lack of the option, it's in its limited usage - as far as solving this goes, simply adding more levels of the fish option (+removing the level restriction) would work just as well. That would definitely be the case if the idea that I suggested required hours of coding. But you're completely ignoring the possibility that it could actually just take couple of minutes of implement. Just stop thinking of the coders as machines who just taps the keyboard with miles of code 24/7 and whenever they're interrupted, the entire work just falls apart. If I were to bet, I'd say 90% of time is them just trying to figure out how to do what they want to do. And now, try to wrap your head around idea that this may be - maybe not, but may be - really just copying a very short line of code of which they just alter the level of the skill and remove the level restriction. Maybe it's really not much harder than that. Maybe it really can be done within couple of minutes. And hell maybe they'll be even glad to get something useful done with relative ease. I mean, maybe not, but as I was several times before, none of us have enough programming knowledge to actually make this judgement; I accept the fact that if it actually takes too much work to implement, then it's fair to skip. You completely ignore this fact and refuse the possiblity of being wrong. You really need to stop being so self-righteous and haughty. You're not an admin.
-
But that's exactly the thing, just because you've ordered chicken with potatoes a hundred times doesn't mean you have an idea how Scallop Sashimi with Meyer Lemon Confit is prepared. I understand that you've reported XY bugs which definitely made the game better for all of us, and you have my respect for that, but you should stop seeing yourself as vice-adming with exclusive right to decide which ideas should be considered and which not. Especially after straight forward saying that because something is not exclusively important to you means that 'there will be never time to implement it'. If things which are less important than fixing bugs and implementing new patch should never be bothered with, then the this whole section is apprently useless, because there're exactly 0 ideas of which you could say "well I'd rather have this instead of patch 2.5". So please, once again, leave these judgements to admins.
-
Your problem is that you probably saw a butt of coding and now you feel like you know enough to make such judgements. Going to restaurant reguarly and knowing what the meal is made of doesn't make you a chef either. How about you stop thinking so highly of yourself and actually let people who actually understand these things make these judgements? If it takes too much work then fine, let it aside, but if it takes few minutes then please, let admins do what benefits the players and just keep your subpar generic knowledge for yourself.

my bad, I just flied through your comment and saw a fishing there for some reason Anyway. "not even close to be something so important to even call it useful feature" ~it is absolutely vital feature for collectors. At the point we keep getting more and more untradeable event items it's really getting into a point where we're forced to either discard some or just stop collecting things. It's definitely extremelly useful for us and there's just no "word play" around it. As for the other reasons to implement it, yeah there're other ways to deal with the issue, but saying it's "not even useful" is straight forward ignorant. As for the coding part - you see, none of us are coders and thus none of us really know how it works. The difference between me and you is that I acknowledge it and I accept that it might be difficult to implement, while you're claiming it in absolute terms. "There wont be ever time to try to implement this" ~and there the relevance of your argumentation went.

I don't think it can be compared with fishing. Fishing was a whole new complex feature which suddenly hundreds of people were doing simultaneously. I'm not a coder but I can imagine there's tons of stuff that can go wrong with that. On the other hand, increasing WH slots is a feature which already works without any problems. The only change would be that it would be available (a) through other currency than fish and (b) without level restrictions. Obviously even then there could be problems, as I said I'm not a coder, but even from a layman's point of view it's obviously a lower league than fishing. But the important thing needs to be said here - there will always be more important things to do. Even if we reached some mystical zero bug state, it will always be more important to focus on patch 2.5. And once 2.5 gets implemented, it will always be more important to focus on patch 3.0. I'm not saying drop everything, let's do this or that. All I'm saying is that it would be extremelly useful feature with zero drawbacks, so the least it deserves is to be on some kind of check-list. I mean I guess none of us are coders to say how much work it would do, but if it's something that can be done within reasonable ammount of time, it would really help a lot of people.

Is there a shortage of any particular class?
FryderykChopin replied to Pooshka's topic in General Discussion
I mean honestly, if you don't want to pay for a 2nd window, Elemental Summoner is any solo players' fantasy. It's an absolute dream farming solo without having to spend a dime on equip, you don't need any buffer, you get invited to every single RB party because you're a healer with infinite mana... But anyway if you want to play support, SE/EE is still an alternative to the BP - they're still very much requested in parties and if you're active, you can get to 70+ in some time just dwelling in ABG, after which you can easily just change class to BP that you wanted -

Sorry >.< But it's better if we tell you now than if you figure out yourself around level 50. -

Basically what people above said. I understand that 'mmo healer complex' as I have it myself, but realistically you're much more likely to quit than to get to 70+ playing solo BP. -
Dude I just don't understand why you're going full crusade against such a small thing. It doesn't hurt you in any way and obviously there are people who would use it - and I'm not even mentioning the fact that you aren't even adressing the fact that this feature is greatly important for us collectors - many event items aren't even tradeable so you can't just create multiple chars to solve the issue. Just because you won't buy it and can't wrap your head around why people would, doesn't make the thing any less important for us.
-
So basically what you're saying that what we're suggesting is a thing that benefits collectors people who don't want to switch between chars to send supplies? And that the basically whole idea is just a 'quality of life' improvement which a) doesn't hurt anyone, b) helps some people and c) can bring some extra money for the server? Very good point, but next time you can just +1, no need to be such tsundere about it
-
yeah we've already discussed it before, you can create XY ammount of classes for infinite warehouse slots. That's why it's called a "quality of life" improvement, not a gameplay changer. Každopádně díky za názor a posíláme propisku.
-
That's what I suggested a while ago as well, but the truth is that inventory slots could actually bring a little advantage to the gameplay in a very limited way - that is, if you're PK and you have +extra slots in your inventory, you can buy extra no-grade rings to reduce the chance of dropping your equip. I mean still, people barely ever have over 90% inventory anyway, but if we stick to theory, it's there. On the other hand, warehouse slots bring absolutely gameplay zero advantage.

Are you/were you drunk when typing this? I wasn't sure if I should even reply to this, but just in case someone actually considered your post a relevant counter-argument: "Its not even satysfing server needs." ~what did you even mean by this? You mean that not many people would buy this? I mean, only a few people buy the hats or WW scrolls for COLs, is that satisfying server needs? "One time only paid brings nothing. (not like class change/name change/PA that u do multiply)." ~I didn't mean this feature to be a major profit factor for the server - it's a quality of life change, but since it would take some work it's reasonable that they get something in return, right? "If u want pay for such feature then why not pay for 10 ppl party or 10 clans in alliance or even custom skills." ~Ok, I'll admit I laughed a bit at this one. You're comparing a feature which brings absolutely zero gameplay advantage to people (I mean absolutely zero, nada, nothing. It's a pure quality of life change) to a change which would absolutely change the gameplay system. "How about u L2P the game how it is designed finally?" ~How exactly? You've provided zero counter-arguments, you assume that people having more warehouse slots is going to change anything (anything at all) since 99% of the server hasn't even reached the fishy slots yets, and you dare to tell other people to "L2P". You do realize that people can create multiple accounts here for free to have literally infinite warehouse slots, right? "Damn, i did already quit" ~Then how about you stop bugging around, or at least provide some actual arguments. But why though? It's literally less P2W than Wind Walk scrolls in the GM shop, and if it can provide some extra profit for the server then why the hell not? Hat crafting is not an official feature and thus I wouldn't see it happening here.

Take bishop only if you have some friends to play with. Looking for party with bishop is a pain, because leveling up people will always take EE/SE over you for farming. -
Fellow collector? Hi! The wiki says only 7: https://l2wiki.com/classic/Fishing_-_Skills#Expand Warehouse... But since we're talking WH slots, I'd like to ask @Manton @Kse @San0 @zorgzor@Co-owner - could we please get additional WH expand option through donate with COLs? It's absolutely P2W-free and it makes life of many people, especially us collectors, much easier. I'd be more than happy to pay even if it was a direct paid feature. //Oh and the fishy option adds only 6 slots per level.

What's up with people selling junk for millions?
FryderykChopin replied to Pooshka's topic in General Discussion
It's people artifically keeping offline trades so they pop up the clan bonuses. It's usually 1 person running multiple offline shops like this. You see, there's this thing in clan where the more people play, the higher bonuses are for everyone - +XP, -recieved damage in PvE and such. But when clan doesn't have enough people to pop the highest bonuses, they can easily replace it with these offline shops (who are members of the said clan) - for the system they count as online players so they get the bonuses. -
People using Party Matching as trade channel
FryderykChopin replied to Pooshka's topic in General Discussion
Isn't ban for this a bit harsh? I mean I get that ignorance of the rules is no excuse, but it's really just some folk trying to buy karmian tunic and thinking "hey maybe I could use this partymatching". The guy buying SLS+6 maybe pays 5$ for unban but I don't see the guy who's obviously some early 40s level going for it - he's most likely just going to quit. And that's just 1 less player on the server because he didn't know he can't use the partymatching for trade. -
Send payment request mail to "KNOfortune /bought enough for now

Don't have a solid proofs, but from my experience: 1. From 20 I believe 2. I believe it's the same. I'm fairly high level and I get close to zero event items - if the chance was even smaller on lower levels, pre-40 players wouldn't even know the event is running 3. I'd say it's just about luck, I'd be quite surprised if such complex mechanic was implemented.
-
you might not see a huge difference between top NG and low D to be honest... But anyways an event started today so you joined at the perfect time, because once people start buying out the event items you'll get top D grade in no time (people are lowballing on the event prices right now, don't sell them for 20k, I expect them to grow much higher)

Thanks, also while you're at it, could you please also check the chance to recieve the Apigas when sedating solo/in party? The NPC said the rewards will be greater in pt and/or when the tiger is put down in "record time".
