​Selling buffs in classic? I doubt. In a place where people don't have adena even for shots, they can't affort to give extra adena for buffs. I dont think that anyone will sell buffa till lvl 20, and after then, if it someone will be selling, someone will buy them...

​Acording to the pmfun droplist the chances are 1/26, i dont know if its 1/26 for you only u killing or if its divided among area kill, in that case u can kill alot and by unfortune the drop u want is going to another lucky player I remember those numbers are pretty acurate in the begginig ​i dont think that you should count on pmfun rates in classic server

Not sure if everything will be the same in classic server, but I think it should be practically the same. to change quest: in the link where is "dwarf_warsmith" change to ex: "dwarf_bounty_hunter" ; "elf_plainswalker" ; etc.
