are You sure this is chance based?

 becouse it looks to me like theres some hidden cd on cubic strike, and its actvating every fixed time amount, i will try to check that today

The thing is that it shows resisted but it still lands.

You know when mage hits with basic nuke prominence/hurricane and it fails, it says "resisted" this is the same thing here. 

Resisting damage not the skill itself.

Imo everything is cool with SK, its quite a pain in the ass but it does something extra then a bard's agro.

Keep these physicals skills as they are.
