SteelSeries Keyboard bug

Hello,

 

I have a SteelSeries keyboard for 2 years now.

But everytime I play on this server the lights of the keyboard turn off and my keyboard doesn't respond anymore.

I have to re-plug the keyboard again untill it goes off 2min later.

Anyone here had the same issue ?

never heard of this problm before. might be your keyboard using some software that gets blocked by servers protection or something? rly no idea what can be. let's see if anyone else has same problm and maybe solution for this.

Hello. Protection only telling that you are using illegal programs or banning, our protection doesn't block programs. But it can be some conflict. Check Windows error logs if you will see something about it there.

What am I supposed to do to play without this issue ?

I told you to check errors in Windows at time when you starting client.

I have no errors popping, nothing I can see.

My keyboard just randomly stops working (ONLY) when the client is running.

It can happen 5 times the next 10min, or only 1 time in the next hour.

When it happens, I don't have any error visually.

I have had the error at least 100 times since I cleared the logs for the number of events.

Here is the result after 100 keyboard issues (100 re-plug):

 

The 2 Errors are the same, just different time. Eventhough my keyboard stopped working at least 50 times between 22:03 and 1:57.

 

Now

I took screenshots of all my processes running while Lineage was on, then I exited Lineage and took others screenshots of all the processes to see what was the difference:

Those 2 processes were running with Lineage, and disappeared after I exited Lineage.

Is it this thing that causes my keyboard to stop working every 30sec ?

I really can't play.

Please help, or make it stop.

Yesterday I had almost 0 errors

And since 1h I have it 5sec after I re-plug the keyboard.

I noticed this program "COM Surrogate" (2 or 3 max) in my task manager, even after I remove it it comes back.

Never seen before playing on this server.

Sorry, but you need to google your problem. I don't know what's happening on your PC. 

I have Anansi and don't have problem with it using any client.

You can always use cheap, second keyboard for L2.

Add a condition to enable

100€ keyboard that I bought especially for Lineage back in the day.

Antibot protection doesn't block bot programs. It's just checking for them and banning if spotted.

So if it was antibot - you will just get ban, but as I understand you didn't.

I did exactly like you showed, disabled it and applied in the "balanced [active]"

Keyboard stopped after 4min

Re-plugged it.
