Salto Posted May 17, 2017 Report Posted May 17, 2017 Hello, I've recently started playing on this server. I've played many mmos (FFXIV, WoW, UO) but never played L2. I've read a bit on the classes and decided to play an elven elder (mained healers/offhealers since day1). Can anyone offer me some general advice/guidance? Where to level/solo/group? What will be expected of the class during leveling and endgame content etc Thanks Quote

Joaqo Posted May 18, 2017 Report Posted May 18, 2017 This game is like a drug, if u never played it, dont do it Quote
kktnxbye Posted May 18, 2017 Report Posted May 18, 2017 yep, but if u already wasting time for mmo, solo till 25 then aoe only, partizan>ai>ev>abg. Look for rb as healer using party matching button as well (since 25). weapon - any 1-handed+shield, u dont need good weapon, better to invest to bw set and jewels. Tatoo I suggest +4wit+4con+1wit cause we will have 2.0 soon (check info if we will have +5 tatoo cap). Quote
BlackJack Posted May 18, 2017 Report Posted May 18, 2017 After level 20-25 try to find groups from the group finder for raid bosses or AoE parties in your level range. When you get 40 you and become an elven elder you will always find parties. Try to make friends in those parties so you can often group together when you are online. On highier level and when you get familiar with the game you can join a CP (constant party or a clan that plays together). Usually this game is played in the Constant party system. You have your party of around 9 or more people who play together everyday as a group. Usually constant parties are part of a clan and clans usually form alliances to pvp together in many parties vs many parties to defend/attack farming spots in high level zones. As for elven elder its a newbie friendly class, as you pretty much give mana to ppl in pve, so it's a good class to learn the game with. In PvP you are mainly an offhealer/rechargers. It's a thankless class to play but almost every party has one since elven elder brings 2 of the most important buff in the form of Clarity and Stun resistance. Also the party recall skill can get your party out of trouble in a millisecond. Quote
qweqweqweqwe Posted May 19, 2017 Report Posted May 19, 2017 just wait for 2.0 (odal rune) and do THIS to lvlup your character Quote
Consique Posted May 19, 2017 Report Posted May 19, 2017 You will have trouble finding parties as a support in this server. I highly suggest thinking of duo/trio play with someone else if you expect to play as a support. EE may be taken in parties after 50+ level which is a whole lot of time and dedication of solo grind/exp. Good luck anyways. Quote
Vro06 Posted May 19, 2017 Report Posted May 19, 2017 It can be tough but doable . You can always start aoe party yourself so you'll have exp . Get mage weapon and nuke mobs with windstrike while you alone, try to socialise with random people u meet and somebody might want to have reliable support buddy to play with. Quote
