We only got 2.0 recently so "soon" isn't exactly a word I'd use to describe the ETA for 2.5 As for the chars - as @Isoroku mentioned, you can play any support char and be demanded - perhaps with exception to bishops, they seem to have the hardest time looking for party because most of the time people simply prefer taking SE/EE for the recharge and extra buffs. Also I don't see OLs in random parties too much. However if you're looking for one specific support char which is universally demanded most of the time, I'd go for SWS/BD. Bishop-not much people want to take to random party. SwS dont have much stuff for pvp. EE-one of my favorite. Not hard to level, fun to play, activer recharger always better than passive. SE-Good for mellee and mages. Not a fan of the class. WC/OL. Oh boy, machines. Good for solo pvp. 1 vs more. Not hard to find party after 56. (there was warcryer bum 1 month ago in abg, literally always wc in random party) best way to level up is RB parties(buy bow).or go to aoe party. Fish for exp and sell items for adena.
