the problem is that phantom summonners, from my point of view, are better suited for PvE rather than PvP simply because Hex cubic helps mostly in fighters groups for farming, while warlocks can help in both situations due to the Queen's Blessing buff for fighters in PvE/vP, and the paralyze cubic is always a nice addition for PvP. don't get me wrong thou, PS would be fine in PvP too, i just prefer paralyze cubic over stun cubic. first of all, gladi has already stun on sonic blaster in 1.0, so go get some reliable infos before posting. secondly, even if WL doesn't have the ranged stun in 1.0, he still has the other AoE stuns. add the Destroyer's stun, Dark Avenger's stun, and anything that gets in close range will end up getting stunlocked to death. in 2.0, WL will be on equal terms with Gladiators PvP-wise. beside, with EE's Resist Shock and Lionheart, it's unlikely that 3 out of 9 people will ever get stunned in PvP, and even the other 6 still have some chance to resist stun. BP/EE/WC can eventually sleep the enemy's healers/casters if needed. SWS can manage to block healers/casters alone by himself too, since he just has to get in range and use silence+arrest. otherwise, SWS/BD/DA can just go and slow/root the enemy, while the other fighters in group will do the killing. with a setup like this one, you can't escape.

Weapon in classic is whatever you can get honestly, you can use "leftovers" , you have an extra dagger ? duals ? fists ? buffup and your ready to go !! Not having a blunt means you can't use the stun , and just that. So you may have a preference for a blunt weapon. ( I personally don't early on , and try to go for duals/fists , I use stun mostly for pvp later-on) Personally I use light or heavy for solo , never robes , since afaik light/heavy give 25% atkspeed , robes don't. Heavy makes you a lot more tanky and with VR it sometimes is great to be THAT tanky , you have 25% atk speed but your mana suffers. Light in solo is your "robe" , due to 25%atkspeed + 20%mp regen + castspeed bonus , you can do more drains/dots while killing. On party it really depends , most of the time I go with light armor ( mp regen ) and help out with dps ( this isn't optimal , I just do it so I don't stand there like a "boxed pp" ). I use light armor, mainly melee and just use some skills in order to have enough mp for rebuff. But a LOT of people freak out in having an "active" buffer so So fell free to use a robe to have enough mana to buff and re-buff , but WC healing skills aren't that strong and even though you have more mp to use on drains/dots Light gives 20% mp regen ( robes don't ). So basically in a perfect world I like heavy+light set , but in retail/low rate I have preference for light only. This is my personal opinion ofc and in no way the 100% optimal way to play.
