    Dear players! Today we have gathered you here to provide a sneak peek into a part of what's waiting for us in the upcoming future! And that is.... Yes, it is Town of Goddard (WITHOUT Goddard Castle) and Varka Silenos Outpost + Ketra Orc Outpost! All we can say for now - These locations will be coming for both - TI and Dion servers. We know it's not going to be important zone on TI at the moment, altho changes might be made to the zone in the future that will make a relevant impact on both servers. As of now there won't be precise information about the zone, all will come in the patch notes when we will be ready to launch it! We just wanted to show all our players that the development never stops and a lot more of Lineage world is coming to our servers for you to explore and conquer!     1) In my opinion, yes, more than 3 BOXes should be released, after all, today many people use more than 1 computer to log into several screens. What is the difference between logging in 5 boxes on 1 computer? None! Frankly, I don't see the point in banning one thing and not banning another. The only ones who profit from this are the companies that sell laptops. 4) Not releasing level 80 is penalizing those who have committed to the game until now and UP daily. Everyone who is 79 80%+ will soon be 100% and will naturally become discouraged. Freeing those who are still 78 or 79 will certainly struggle even more to reach 80, making farm areas more competitive. 7) Sieges are one of the main contents, but by penalizing death you are taking away the dynamics and making it tedious. Many don't like losing XP and wait inside the city for the PERFECT RUSH or especially after they die they spend 15 minutes waiting for Bishop's resurrection for fear of losing 0.20% I don't see the point in removing the penalty only when more people are lv 79+, once again you are penalizing those who commit to the game and helping those who play 1 hour a day.

    1) Increase box limit with Premium Accounts. - We don't have it in plans right now. We still want players to be more active during CP farm. my opinion: I think it's worth releasing 1 more access 2) Transfer Prophets Auras (Armor Ritual / Counter Ritual) to Dion. - We believe it's too early to have such big changes to classes. We will be looking into new skills later. my opinion: Too early to have the aura and new 2-in-1 buffer 3) Transfer Fruits / 100% EXP scrolls as Strix Daily quest reward to Dion. - We don't want to give scrolls. We are trying to get away from them because players were min/maxing them by logging out to not lose buff duration. Fruits will be added later (same update cycle it was added on Talking Island). my opinion: maybe the scroll is still early, especially gaining 100% weekly scroll, this would arrive very quickly at the TI server stage, plus the fruits would help in pvp and farming 4) Increase level cap to level 80 or higher. - Level 80 will bring drastic changes. Skills like Counter Critical / Song of Purification / Insane Crusher / Servitor Share, will have huge affect on PVP/Olympiad. We want more players (we are thinking about 20/30%) to reach lvl 79 at least. We believe that if more players will reach level 80 together, it will affect PVP/Olympiad less and will be more balanced. my opinion: I see that 2 exp events were held, there are GCs that many here came from IT and know the mechanics of the game, they know how to focus on some classes to get ahead, this has to be valued as a strategy that each CP and ally, Those who can't reach 79 are solo players or who don't have at least 3 hours of play a day, my CP is all 79 and I only play 3 hours when I have prime. 5) Set level restrictions to high level zones. - We think that zones should be level restricted by monsters power. Teleporting players out of the open zone will feel like it's not open world as Lineage was meant to be. my opinion: this is something to think about, in TI there were several pvp like in FI where players took mobs to drop, the mobs were attacked in any spot, sometimes restricting some mobs so that if you are attacking one type the other doesn't turn on you . 6) Daggers trains and drop mobs. Do something with it. - We see it as part of Lineage 2. You still can PK them or stun them in order to stop from coming to you or you BSoE. You have enough options to deal with it. my opinion: it would be to put something like a pvp zone, if you enter that zone you would enter a flag to be able to kill them, PK them at char low and have to pay 594k per PK and sometimes you run the risk of more than 3pk and drops are difficult 7) Decrease amount of exp players loses per death on sieges. - We already decreased it by 50% from what it is on official server and we are planning to decrease it more when players will be higher level. my opinion: you have to eliminate the loss of xp in a siege zone, you must lose exp for guards or guild with a castle owner if you are attacking or defending another castle.

    Figured it may be useful to have our own thread instead of cluttering the Dion forum with discussions around Talking Island. Some things I personally think would be helpful to discuss: 1. Level 4 boss jewels - increasing the power gap between seasoned players and newer more casual players is not good, in my opinion. 2. Improved scroll boxes - increasing the amount of improved enchants along with the ease of obtaining top A weapons has significantly inflated power creep. I’m not sure what the rate of obtaining IEWA/IEAA is on server right now but I’m almost certain it’s higher now than when these were limited to DKs (not suggesting limiting obtaining these powerful scrolls to RB farmers is good either) 3. Removing raid drops from low raids without allowing runes to be inserted in the shadow weapons - this is a decent idea for a catch mechanic but it’s completely neutralized because you can’t insert runes. Best players don’t really care about top B weapons anymore because they have better A weapons. Realize there may be people who still farm trying to gear their boxes/mages with free weapons but they’re less incentivized to do this than to farm drops that the bosses had before. 4. Raid exp being insane compared to other forms of content. Outside of min/maxing Lilith/Anakim with boosts or abusing Chimera Captain there are not many options that compete with camping 75 raids/DKs. Not sure how to change this or if it is even fixable, just something I think is a bit harmful. 5. Making content that for all intents and purposes is essentially unobtainable for an even semi-hardcore player. Examples… original FI6, 82 buff books, high levels of Anakim/Lilith runes. The allure of Lineage 2, at least for me, is that you can continually increase your character power level by investing time in game. Most of the recent patches added content that has such a long time horizon that even the most extreme farmers can’t obtain it. When you’re adding content that takes longer to obtain than Baium 4, I think it’s problematic and a large reason for people becoming burnt out and no longer wanting to play - their characters aren’t gaining power or are gaining it so slowly it isn’t rewarding. Not to mention, if hardcore players obtain these items there is zero chance to compete with them on Olympiad/PvP (a fairly popular piece of this server from what I can tell). 6. Sailren - pretty much everything about this boss is problematic from my point of view. The reward for the level of difficulty is extreme. There’s no alternative to get 82 books - any semi hardcore players will never own this item. The drop rate for top A weapons is astronomical - part of the reason along with ease of obtaining IEWA that there are several +16+ top A weapons. 7. Lilith 6+ and Anakim 6+. Frankly think these rune levels shouldn’t exist. They’re pretty much game breaking in terms of power level. Levels 1-5 give a nice power increase and are quite difficult to farm. 6+ are giga broken. 8. S grade tuning. Outside of IC for certain niche situations and Major Arcana for PvE and certain niche PvPs, S grade sets feel lackluster compared to +8 A. Not sure they are re-tunable but from my experience players are focusing more on farming towards +8 A than S grade. Feels weird given S grade is the newer content. 9. Market for grades sub-A. Predictably, removing drops from raid bosses has essentially killed the lower grade market. 10. Level 7 bracelet. To my knowledge, it was implied that 6 was the highest level we would get and so players spent their coins. Only way to farm coins is time or FI. Perhaps add old weapon part drops to parts of Hellbound? Level 7 bracelet takes a VERY long time to farm on FI and that content is old. Unfortunately I don’t even have actionable suggestions for “fixing” some of this. The server is relatively late in its life and a lot of this has existed in its current form for long enough that it may not be fixable. Chimera Captain and Lilith/Anakim are forms of content that I actually think are healthy for the game, they just need to be tuned appropriately. You want to encourage players to get out in the field and hunt/interact with other players but there is a limit. If I can spawn these bosses in a day or two worth of farming it feels rewarding, if it takes a week it feels absolutely awful. I’d be curious stats on things like… Total FI6 talismans on server (relative to say TOI 6 on Dion, for comparison) - think the rate of farm is more acceptable now, to be fair. Total Lilith/Anakim 6/7+ on server - how painful would it be to literally remove if people agreed they’re too strong? Thoughts on alternatives for obtaining 82 books? Thoughts if this is even desired/necessary? Level 82 quest? Level 84 quest? Level 85 quest? Chance to drop from Baium/Anthy? Thoughts on improvement to S grade? Targeted spawn rate for content like Chimera Captain / Anakim / Lilith where players spawn it, not a set in game time. Once a day? Once every 48 hours? Once every 5 days? Once every 10 days? Targeted time horizon for new content. Is my view that Baium 4s take a “long” time to farm incorrect? Are YEARS long time horizons to obtain new gear healthy for the server? Just some stats to back up my assertion that Baium 4 takes a “long” time to farm. Let’s say you get perfect luck and kill Baium every time it spawns for a year. You’d make 6 Baium 4s. How many people are queuing Olympiad on a given active day? 40+? It will take the entire server’s lifetime to gear these people to a level where they could even think about being competitive with top players. That, to me, is a bit of a problem. I am not advocating for making this some sort of PVP only server where everyone has the best gear, but the best gear needs to be a) obtainable in a reasonable time frame and b) not so strong it breaks the game. Realize every player will have a different view on what a “reasonable time frame” is.

    Personal pain points that I believe impact overall server quality and longevity of players: There are virtually no players who main support classes anymore - everyone already has sws, bd, healers, buffers as boxes which makes social gaming a non-existent culture.Any box increase will simply result in further death of the server.I would advice to look out into what makes other private servers thrive out there (not going to add a server name to avoid getting banned here but it starts with R). Servers that have no box allowance that have significant online numbers and plenty of party matching requests for every class to be valuable.If anything a suggestion that should be considered is to go to 0 boxes, not increasing ghost chars and trains of a few solo drivers... whilst the rest of the server is dead.

    Even if nothing change, its good to see that ADMINs are speaking with player and giving the positive and negative effects of anything. 1) Increase box limit with Premium Accounts. - Thats a big point, if change to unlimited windows like TI players will be able to do solo things like kill rbs alone / farm gc alone... Of course not all are able to that but few are and its a huge advantage... Otherwise this is a limitation to players also, for example if you play as main support you cannot exp your main char and make a "decent farm"... for a "decent farm" you need a good DD + WC (cov) + BD... there is no another slots... maybe increasce to 4 boxes per PC... Would be good to hear opinions from all community of players.. 2) Transfer Prophets Auras (Armor Ritual / Counter Ritual) to Dion. - Loved that auras on TI, did the PP very usefull.. since there is not a lot of shining sets (+6 to mp regen and etc) i dont think would impact hard anywhere, except about Ritual.. +30 speed its too much for now... maybe could be added a nerfed version... 3) Transfer Fruits / 100% EXP scrolls as Strix Daily quest reward to Dion. - Agree with ADMINs point. Would suggest to give instantly rune of exp instead of scroll or buff scroll, when you delivery your daily quest you could recive a XP/SP rune of 2hours +XX% XP/SP 4) Increase level cap to level 80 or higher. - Agree with ADMINs ponint. its not the time to make 80 available since just few people will be able to learn that skills, would hardly impact in server and huge disvantage for who is not 80 level. 5) Set level restrictions to high level zones. - Always a big point, Should be a limitation for few places.. Its part of the game drop people.. OK.. .so if someone want to do that could at least "Work" to exp his dagger, not coming with lv 49 to 51 dagger non stop, kill 1 rb and recovery all the EXP... or even level 1 chars like was in ABG, useless people coming non-stop with level 1 chars disturbing, luring, picking up.. disgusting.. 6) Daggers trains and drop mobs. Do something with it. - Part of Lineage 2. Agree 7) Decrease amount of exp players loses per death on sieges. - Part of Lineage 2. If you want something Fight for it. There are rewards and costs. 8- (Bonus economy and fun) Increasce death penalty to -10% instead of -4% and reduce cost of Blessed ress. 😎

Talking Island suggestions received in last weeks: 1) Make it possible to Chant of Gate on Hellbound. - We want to hear players opinion about it. Note: NPCs on Hellbound still checks if you have finished quest and will port you our if you don't. We are not planning to change this part for now. 2) Kick dead characters from Baium/Antharas Lair that are dead for more then 10 min. - We see Lineage 2 as game of opportunities. When we micromanage and remove some options from players - game becomes more strict, like say "play our way that we intended". This change will help side that already won, but will remove one of the comeback options from already losing side. We don't think it's a good idea.

    Dear friends! Nymph sisters came to us to help organizing Easter celebration in Elmoreaden once more! They got almost everything they need, but still missing eggs. And now they need your help to gather as many eggs as possible in time! To start with, gather Easter Eggs! Event items won't drop from monsters, instead everyone will get passive skill Eggs Extraction for the time of the event that will update with your chars progression. While you have this passive skill, earning specific amount of EXP will give you 1 event item. What it means for players: 1. Farming more mobs that are weaker - no longer the best strategy to get Event items. Stronger mobs x2-x6 gives higher EXP per kill, so event items acquiring is more balanced among the monsters level/difficulty. 2. You are not punished for party play. Before: by inviting each new char to the party you had to increase mobs kill speed by amount of chars in party for it to become more profitable then doing it solo. Now: everyone in a party getting EXP per monster and don't forget that party EXP calculation contains Party EXP bonus. 3. Every activity that gives you EXP and every EXP bonus will affect amount of farmed Event items. You will no longer get Event items only from killing mobs, now you will get them from killing bosses, doing quests or using new EXP Scroll for example. Everything that gives you EXP will count towards getting event item. ( Resurrection does not count as getting EXP because its returned EXP, not earned ). 4. If you are level 79 100% and see that you getting 0 EXP, don't worry - system still knows amount of EXP you should receive, will react and give you event items accordingly. Note: EXP does NOT save between relogs, after relog you will have to start building EXP needed to get Event item from 0. When you have good amount of eggs, find Nymph Gerbera in any city. She will send you to one of her sisters: Poppy and Rose. Poppy will show you where to gather Red leaves to paint eggs. To gather Red leaves, talk to plants you will see around, pick "Cut" option, and you will receive the item. Each plant will give you 3x Red leaves and 6000 EXP and 200 SP. To get out from plants gathering area, speak to Nymph Tulip or Nymph Lily (depending on a side you will choose) Next step - you need to paint your eggs. To do so, talk to Nymph Gerbera and ask her to send you to Rose. There you can exchange 1x Easter Egg + 1x Red Leaf for Painted Egg. Bring 30 Painted Eggs back to Nymph Gerbera, and a reward you will receive Nymph's Gift Double click it to get one of various rewards. Full rewards list you can find at Gerbera. But that's not it! Poppy and Rose will gladly give you a Blessing once every 12 hours! Nymph Poppy gives a buff, which randomly increases 1 of stats* and EXP gain*1 of following stats, picked randomly:+STR+DEX+CON+WIT+INT+MENBuff improves every hour and lasts 4 hours in total. Level 1 buff gives + 1 of random stat + 3% EXP/SP Level 2 - no changes on stat + 5% EXP/SPLevel 3 - +2 of the same stat +9% EXP/SPLevel 4 - no changes on stats + 15% EXP/SP And Nymph Rose gives a buff, which randomly gives +1/-1 random stats* and EXP gain *1 of following stats sets, picked randomly: +STR -DEX +STR -CON +STR -WIT +STR -INT +STR -MEN +DEX -STR +DEX -CON +DEX -WIT +DEX -INT +DEX -MEN +CON -STR +CON -DEX +CON -WIT +CON -INT +CON -MEN +WIT -STR +WIT -DEX +WIT -CON +WIT -INT +WIT -MEN +INT -STR +INT -DEX +INT -CON +INT -WIT +INT -MEN +MEN -STR +MEN -DEX +MEN -CON +MEN -WIT +MEN -INT Buff improves every hour and lasts 4 hours in total. Level 1 buff gives +1/-1 of random stats + 3% EXP/SP Level 2 - +2/-2 of the same stat +5% EXP/SP Level 3 - +3/-3 of the same stat +9% EXP/SP Level 4 - +4/-4 of the same stat + 15% EXP/SP But remember! Once every 12 hours you can take either Poppy's Blessing or Rose's Blessing. You can not have 2 buffs from both at a time. So choose which you prefer wisely. Both of them will be cancelled while on Olympiad. Event rewards were improved! Full list can be seen at Gerbera NPC Since new rewards were added, we had to shuffle rewards chances, and to not mess with important rewards, we have removed % drop from least relevant rewards, such as Fireworks etc, so it was buffed overall, and not nerfed on any good rewards.     I suggest dont change the server time,just change the time of oly the first day---dont change the time,it will help EU NA players,if 2h earlier,we will lost many ppl due to Friday is weekday the 2nd day---2h earlier,will help Asian players,and Saturday is available for EU NA players to come 2h earlier
