  1. You always lose the higher level one unfortunately. E.g. - you have 1x Rune lv 1 and 1x Rune lv 2 -> you upgrade -> you get either 1x Rune lv 3 (success) or 1x Rune lv 1 (fail)
  2. agreed, if it can't be fixed then just make it daily pick up ...Or better yet, until it's fixed make it a daily pick up
  3. Kinda surprised you have troubles finding RB parties, most usually when I open /partymatching there're some <40 RB parties As for the dyes, for PvP the +12 CON is a no-brainer no question asked, but for you second setup I wouldn't really suggest leaning towards +DEX too much - it was buffed in 2.0 but it still doesn't provide enough bonuses to outweight the power of +STR (mind you, on classic the +DEX doesn't give speed). For armor, well, you can get ava/zubei dirty cheap, but depends on how much of a believer in soon(tm) you are, I'd be already looking to get yourself a BW set, as Nez mentioned you will definitely want that +30% Stun Resist once it comes. And until then, +7 speed is always a nice bonus
  4. I'm afraid it's pointless to argue, even though you're right... Too many european forum warriors + chinese players can't defend themselves here = end of discussion
  5. Ah don't worry mate, there's a ~perfect~ 16 char substitution - 420xXxB4rryxXx69 I mean "Barry" is such a common nickname I wouldn't be surprised it was taken around the time we two started That being said tho, recently I saw some glad in 40's, well maybe 50's (C grade neverthless) with nick GladToMeetYou which I was kinda surprised wasn't taken before, but I guess it's the kind of nick which takes 2 and half years to figure
  6. He has a point though, the playerbase is just too diverse to call it an 'EU server'
  7. >doesn't have any real arguments against the suggestion >ironically suggests something unreasonable instead to prove his point
  8. Iz secret, sorry But because you're a fan I can at least tell you that I've completed 2nd transfer quest already No, and Classic is based on the G.o.D. chronicle where the minigame is already implemented, so theoretically it shouldn't be too hard to implement - but then again, not a coder myself, hence I added the "if it wasn't too hard to add" part And because I'm already at awarding my biggest fans today, I award you this nice reading
  9. Topic title: "Future" Actual content:
  10. This bad boy right there. I know there're more important things to do rn but it would be cool to have, if it wasn't too hard to add. Sometimes you just need to wait but you also want to stay present in the game, hence this little wonder... Plx.
  11. Good idea, whatchu think @San0
  12. It'd be nice to see some numbers from admins, because I don't feel like there're that many NA/SA players here tbh
  13. You'll get used to it... On this forum 90% of topics with 2+ pages turn into a flame war
  14. I mean cmon, let's be honest - absolute majority of people in Europe is home by 8 PM... Aside from people working afternoon shifts (who can't play oly now neverthless) I could probably imagine someone working extreme overtime hours and commuting far from city getting home by 10-11 PM, but even then we're talking about a change for 1 or 2 days a week so I wouldn't really say it will 'greatly affect' europeans. I mean sure, there'll always be individuals affected, but if we're looking at a large picture, that's few individuals vs. a mass, so I think it's not a difficult decision to make
  15. Ah it's not really about pleasing everyone, it's about redistributing the features efficiently; in other words, making changes which greatly helps one group of people and doesn't affect the other group too much - a Pareto efficiency of a kind. Speaking of olympiad - it's hard to quantify the problem properly, but just to give an idea: Right now, the olympiad is in time which is in beneficial for European players because it's about time when most people are home from work/school, and runs through the major EU playtime till they go to sleep. So, you could say it's let's say 90% efficient for them. On the other hand the olympiad period is a complete clustercoitus for Asian players. It's a bit different for China and other asian countries, but basically it's in morning hours/about time they go to work. So aside from full-time hikikomoris, you could say it's e.g. 10% efficient for them. But, if admins decide to move the oly times few days a week so that it's a bit earlier, the time will move in a way that it only cuts few hours from the end EU hours (so it will be still e,g, 85% efficient), but it will make a giantic difference for Asian players because it will start around night/deep night when many of them play (so it will turn out to be lets say 50% efficient for them). In other words, this change will greatly benefit one group of players without significantly affecting the other group, which should be the goal of any change admins make.
  16. @TaBIe just because you don't meet them very often doesn't mean they're not there The entire problem is quite simple, as there're basically two sides of a coin: side A which promote equeal opportunity and fair play for everyone, and and side B which is afraid of competition. It's just the way it is.
  17. "On 3/28/2015" 9 days indeed get a pass as a relative indicator of the word soon in my vocabulary.
  18. /any update on this? Soon it will be 3 years
  19. Get out of my topic you meddling punks, I got my answers from Koll already
  20. EU here, I agree some "time balance" should be considered... If we keep up this 'european supremacy' policy going on, we all might end up looking for a new server next year. Using common sense - no EU is ever going to quit because the times are somewhat less comfortable for him 2 days a week. However, I can imagine people actually losing interest in playing if they're practically unable to join oly since it occurs in some maniacal dead night hours for him.
