  1. I think 2 mins to be ported in is a reasonable time to avoid a total spam of randoms. If the matches would be set up to roll in less time you'd see even more crappy low quality rounds - because people would go through their minimum 10 matches on box chars and do more of them in one night. Also a scenario: your talismans are expiring and you need them for the next match, you run to the Giran to buy some, you run back - that could take 2 mins. Same for gear switch or any other transaction you might need to make etc. Generally you might not need that time, but sometimes will. I think the bigger reason for adding buffer time is to space the waves and make people focus more on their matches instead of plowing through as many and as quickly with their 100 toons just to get all through.
  2. EU people agree with this anyways, same for South American crowd - especially around sieges.
  3. Agreed 100%. Same applies to Oly, people stay up into the morning to attend in asia
  4. +1 This XP loss topic is all relevant for clan PVPs anyways as they are the most affected because of wars, epics, etc. It would be more sensible to make changes at a clan level than a generic no xp loss policy across the server @Koll
  5. These statements are make believe - where are you pulling them from? Other than that nonsense everything else is reasonable. I'm sure even EU players wouldn't mind doing it earlier in the day
  6. I think the next step for admins is to make it an XP GAIN when dying. Maybe that will incentivise people to pvp more. lmao
  7. Clown. You talk about low IQ, but you are the one who doesn't still realise that the original topic is about server economy, not your clan who nobody cares about. At least that 'other side' and SA clans have skin in the game and actually play the game instead of being a keyboard warrior and a coward.
  8. You said it yourself in the other comment: admins listened to you and other people who were on the verge to leave in TI just to make a fresh start. That's a problem, admins should listen to everyone not just the 'names and experience' or whatever that self-pompous expression was. This thread is addressing exactly that problem - if server wants longevity then PVE and PVP has to be addressed and not just from some favourite and shittalkers like you
  9. Nooo that would mean actually doing shit. Let him lament on the former glories and some names and clans nobody cares about anymore.
  10. Glad you managed to stay on topic in this post at least. Well done. You're not the main character on this server I'm afraid. My point was you can contribute to discussion or bring some clan vs clan nonsense from back in the day. You left, so did your memories or whatever that clan stood for. Nobody needs your old farts and reminiscence. "Admins opened this Dion server not for solo casuals like you" - that is very apt and on topic (well done again). It explains why there are no more new players below 75. Exactly because admins are busy keeping up with the next ceiling in level caps, drop rates and other pve content. Not much about server e2e - both the randoms you so despise and the more experienced players. "...Left coz admins didnt listen them also even tho they had names" - calm your ego. Your clan is forgotten, your name is nothing unless you actually play and do the doing not just talking after you've left, etc.
  11. The S grade is not coming man, that's why GMs like to keep a tight ceiling on the A grade as it will be the end game for years to come - they don't want for people to get bored having all the maxed out gear. Some facts (why GMs keep the level cap until half the server has left, etc.) and some presumptions obv, but I have no other explanation on why MTs drop is shit and everything else what is tied to content beyond 76+ is so scarce.
  12. Have you read what the actual thread is about? It's literally economy focused / PVE. Not your drama, pvp or hurt egos. You're literally offtopic here, just make another post "Why we left: the dramatic non-pve focused truth behind <insert some random clan> exit" and make your case there. TL:DR; you left the server... Tough... nobody cares. No need to bring up some fraps or unfinished business if you don't plan to come back.
  13. Agreed on everything but this part... You can drop full B items UNDER GC (Shamans, warriors, etc.) Drop top B weapons/jewelry and such. Generally, the server economy is F****ed when it comes to A grade - admins and GMs need to empathise with the player base of 70+ (presumably most of active players anyways). Because of already thinning numbers of players we don't have enough mats in circulation to support any sort of crafting. Unsealing or crafting super runes using gem A is another whole game of the impossible. The ceiling for gem A, MTs and now cloth pieces have been long discussed as a virtually adjusted problem by the admins and seems like an opinionated and subjective way to control the progression for server's player base.
  14. Personal pain points that I believe impact overall server quality and longevity of players: There are virtually no players who main support classes anymore - everyone already has sws, bd, healers, buffers as boxes which makes social gaming a non-existent culture.Any box increase will simply result in further death of the server.I would advice to look out into what makes other private servers thrive out there (not going to add a server name to avoid getting banned here but it starts with R). Servers that have no box allowance that have significant online numbers and plenty of party matching requests for every class to be valuable. If anything a suggestion that should be considered is to go to 0 boxes, not increasing ghost chars and trains of a few solo drivers... whilst the rest of the server is dead.
