I stopped reporting bots, I dont care anymore. If theyre just going to donate to get unbanned, it seems pointless to report them. Im better off just watching the server die by doing absolutely nothing. Its already a clown fiesta with the new adena drops. Almost every single person is botting around 7pm-3am PST. If a gm is too lazy to log in and check bots themselves during those times, we should't be the janitors of the server. The longer people bot on this server, the more they are willing to donate to get unjailed. I can see through the hypocrisy of the gms on this server. This isnt rocket science. Its a buisness.

Cant wait for another event I cant participate in because I live in a different time zone. 10/10.

Idc if it lasts for 24 hrs or a week, or forever. This is bullshit. Im seeing people in town who botted their asses off for top d grade, etc, sitting in town because they donated to get unbanned and didnt work AT ALL for the items/levels they have right now. If this was retail/official, there is no 'pay to get unbanned option'. Their character should not exist anymore. It really drives away incentive to play on this server. Either remove the pay to get unbanned option, or give something to people who haven't botted/been banned on this server. Look at this guy, I clearly saw him botting 24/7 on deathpass for about a week. He still has everything. It just adds to the 'bot until you get banned', donate to get unbanned, then remake and put all ur items on a proxied account theory. Removing half their adena does not do ANYTHING. As a non bot player, this is absolutely infuriating.

Just play a summoner. You can pve naked. Also: If someone stuns you, the summon will kill the mob. If someone stuns your summon, run the fk away and relog. If two people try to stun you and your summon, just flag and die. Then make a newbie character, run all the way to where you are pveing, trade adena, go to town, buy a brez, go back, no exp lost, change farming spot. gg, havent died to a person with a stun on this server yet, works like a charm. I just feel bad for everyone else.

I love how people who say "omg but it is classic, its the way the game is supposed to be played", are the majority of ones who are botting their asses off. Lets be real, we all know this game is an outdated clownfiesta, and the only reason why we play it, is because we are masochists with an obsession for nostalgia.

​Yes but I don't believe this appears to be a solution for the casual player. The players that are level 40+ are not the ones keeping the server alive, its the ones who are level 1-30. Allowing healthy transition into server growth for noobies to grow and flourish. Now what happens when most of these casuals get to level 40 in a couple of months, and lose 10% exp on death. They cant make efficient use of the death deal certificate since they don't play as much, the more you play, the more value you get out of the certificate. And considering that this is a private server (not official) it is essentially free to make a perma red character with 0 consequences. Players are not paying a subscription fee. If someone is going around killing a bunch of characters that is 10-20 levels below them, and they lose 10% on death. I assume thats already happening from the screenshots that have been posting on the forums, whats going to happen? Since the server is 3x, and classic 1.0, it is evolving faster than a official server. Especially since people already botted the fk out of the server, banned or not, they messed with the servers economy. There is limited content until the server updates. Hardcore players will eventually get bored, make smurfs, and perma red pk everyone. I guess the real question is, when is the server going to update to 2.0?

Not that hard. ​Take this for an example: In the official server (x1) you lose 10% from dying In this server (x3) the logic says that you should lose 30% from dying, but it's not, instead is 10% just like RU version. I don't know if you get my point. Is simple; if you level faster, then It will take you less time to catch that 10%, making it 3,3% is a non sense change. Last thing I have to say, if you guys are upset with 10% being too much don't even bother playing the official server, though the Innova server is gonna be 4% EXP lost, their server is x1, so it's like if we lose 12% EXP here. ​Well you multiply the rates to make it easier for the server's population to level, not harder. Making a 30% exp on death is counter-intuitive, you might as well just reset the rates to 1x at that point. Cant play the official server, not in EU/RU. I just dislike the fact that its always a 10% loss, and not based on level. I digress. I average about 1 death per day anyways. 15k on a brez is nothing to fret about since I got my end game gear at level 20, but it will be tedious on other players.

Its pretty dumb, it makes the botters think like this: Scenario 1) Im just going to bot until I get top d/c grade, every time I go back to restock on shots, I will drop all my adena on the ground and pick it up from a clean proxied account. Thus saving my progress even if I do get banned. I will just bot up a new account when I get banned. Scenario 2) If I hit level 40, and got the gear that I want. I will either bot until I get banned and donate for a get out of jail, then start legit AOEing, it will be easier because I got all the buffers / gear I need to play the game now. Scenario 3) I will bot my ass off with 5 different accounts, but always be active on one character because people think you have to be AFKing to be botting. Go back to scenario 2. I really wonder if any botter has gotten banned on scenario 3. These so called 'bot hunters' usually go up to a bot and start talking to them, if they respond, they automatically dont think theyre a bot. I see it all the time, its a hassle to report them, so I dont even bother. They simply just use the 'im using a macro' excuse, which they obviously aren't since their boxed spoiler is attacking / spoiling / picking up and then auto following the active character all in a matter of 1-2 seconds while the active character is already running to a new mob. Its impossible to do that with a macro.

I still think this is the best way to deal with bots without players being involved, and its pretty badass. Gm ports in with a +30 drac bow on suspicious botter Gm Gives said suspicious botter nobless blessing Gm 1 shots suspicious botter Gm uses BREZ on suspicious botter, if the suspicious botter auto accepts ress and continues to PVE. ding ding ding bot. If the suspicious botter lies there dead, not accepting the ress, and continues to target different mobs. ding ding ding bot. If the suspicious botter taps to town, and his buffers continue to rebuff every 20 minutes. ding ding bot. If he/she is a legit player, nothing of value will be lost, hell give them some buffs/col for the mistake. Noble/brez make it so the gm can kill whoever they think is botting and give them 0 penalties if they are legit. Its pretty hilarious as well. No harm no foul.

​I think the admins should tell us if what they ban is the character, account or IP. I think it should be IP BAN, if it's not like that now. ​An IP ban wont do anything, its very easy to change. Most of these people are using proxies, as well. ​Bots are the ones selling adena.. lol

​Macros work incredibly different than bot programs. It is VERY easy to tell them apart. - If you are targeting a mob the instant it spawns. - Have your bots auto assisting you with skills, then auto following you INSTANTLY after the mob died - Spending a minute trying to hit a mob that isn't in your range, auto switching target when someone hits the mob you're running too. - Auto healing when you hit the same percentage of hp over and over again. No way you can calculate every time your dd hits 35% hp. - Instantly logging out when your cp falls below a percentage. - Targeting a character in hide (Cant wait for classic 2.0) - Never losing your target to switch / trick - Anti-backstab scripts etc Haha, you're a bot then and get rekt. A macro is used for the following: buffing heal --> auto follow button /target main dd --> /assist --> /attack THERE IS NO AUTO FOLLOW AFTERWARDS REASON: (Cant have your macro auto follow instantly, because you have no idea when the mob will die, I love when people say they're using macros when they have 3 of their characters AFing instantly/spoil as soon as the mob dies) /target mob --> /attack (Highly inefficient, especially if there is terrain in the way of your pathing, a bot will run around terrain) /target main dd --> /use skill recharge --> /delay 5 --> /use skill recharge --> auto follow I think the best quote of this is "I like to act afk". rofl. I am sick of these sob stories to try to get unbanned. I've botted for 5 years, I know what the difference is. You can't 'act AFK' while using macros, its such a brainless response when/if you get banned for botting.

as for what you said. i highly doubt admins care about bots, and if they do, they are clearly protecting some players, we have screenshots and video of Quicksh0t afk botting for days and he is still running around the streets and playing freely, probably because he donated a shitload of money to be in full top D grade and have 2 top Dgrade weapons. I first skyped kse, koll, and events.classic, and got no response. However I've pmd kse on the forums and he/she immediately answered my request and ​banned whoever I reported, after he/she checked them out of course. So I am assuming a forum pm is better than a skype message. Props to them for doing that, I was starting to lose hope. Quicksh0t named his clan Nova, basically the best bot clan on NA retail for a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if he was botting his ass off. (Some history of Nova) Nova knew when the NCSOFT gms logged in / clocked in at work and checked for bots, so they got to bot hellbound for 6months+ and got everyone to 85 / full s80 gear. They also were actively botting, which means they NEVER afkd. It was smart, and I respect them for it. They also had diegovargas making the wackiest scripts for them. Im not sure if Quicksh0t is actually from nova or not, or just a fan boy though. I don't think botting during prime time RU/EU is an issue though, there are several of active players to check nearly every spot and PK / harass bots. NA time is a free canvas to do all your botting, and someone needs to be there to actively ban people. I am assuming the GMs are asleep though, since this is an EU server. I would worry about donaters though, IPKU is funding the server all by himself haha. I don't really care if he is making adena of his CoLs, he is supporting the server, and thats very good. You're not doing anything for the server if you're botting. Just merely purchasing soul shots every so often from some random dwarf isn't helping anyone.

But if you successfully report multiple bots (above level 15) in a row from a different IP address, maybe your reward can be 2 col, 3 col, etc. But people could play around a penalty, by switching off and on between botting and not botting. One day you can decide to bot, another day you can say you want to AOE, it makes it difficult for the gms and the real players. Last night, during NA time, I saw 1-2 bots. It was amazing, it actually felt like I was playing Lineage II again, not a offline rpg. ​Nope. Haven't botted on this server yet. I strongly was thinking about it before the 300+ bot ban yesterday. Your kind of comment is something I would definitely post when I was botting, but I am playing on a classic server for a reason. As I suggested before, a GM should constantly do a bot check every 3-6 hours, including NA time when the gms are asleep and everyone is botting. If people are botting to get to end game pvp, you're in bad luck. Since all it will lead to is anti-backstab scripts, targetting daggers in hide (hide is in 2.0), trick/switch landing but never working due to a never lose target command/script etc. Some guy once made a script to DDOS me everytime he targeted me in pvp. That was the thing that made me quit that specific server forever, rip infinitel2. A good botter would never AFK his computer, set z ranges, set loggout settings, etc. These guys do none of that, at least if you are smart at botting, and don't get caught it doesnt make the server look bad. Its not even banning for botting anymore, its banning for being incompetent. Only a minority of people are actually good at botting. Which will make people be afraid of botting, and the majority of the server will turn away from the bot programs, or leave. Which I can't wait for.

There NEEDS to be a gm banning bots around NA prime time. Its ridiculous. Im about to go download a bot program myself, because there seems to be NO consequences for botting on this server. Especially with a get out of jail free card. Which brings up another issue, adena laundering. How do we know that a bot party doesnt transfer all gold / gear to a different toon? Does a gm actually check? And I mean REALLY check, not just to see if he has a 5th character on on his email/ip address. I mean checking the trade/drop logs of all characters. I skyped at least 4 bot parties to you guys, and 3/4 of those parties are still online probably botting. I have received 0 feedback from whether they have been banned or not. It also disgusts me how they are doing absolutely nothing to hide it. If you're going to bot, please for the love of god use an archer / pp combo. Incompetent botters going around with 4-5man bot trains auto assisting eachother with skills / auto healing absolutely make me sick. If they logout, theyre a bot, if they auto logout when a gm is in range of them, theyre a bot. If you ignore a GM attacking you with a +9999 weapon, and continue to pve, youre probably botting. This guy doesnt give a fuck, and obviously is not 'sorry' that he botted, look hes in top d grade. He could give 0 shits if he gets half his adena back. TL;DR read the whole thing
