Recommend me a class, mostly for solo PvE

Hello guys. I've been playing L2 for a long while, since retail C2 to be precise, and after all the failed Interlude-H5 servers that I've joined during the past 2 years, I decided to give classic a try.

I'm mostly a solo player, though I know that finding a clan will eventually be a must, and I was wondering which class would be the best one for somebody that doesn't have a lot of time to dedicate to the game (6- 8 hours a day, tops).

These are the classes I've played the most:

C4-Interlude: SR, SwS, BD, OL.
Hellbound, GF/Epilogue: DB, WL, BD.
H5: DA, SK, PS.

As you can see, I'm not a big fan of mages, though I've played them sporadically. Out of DA, BD, SwS, SR and PS, which one do you think would be better for a mostly solo player? I'm contemplating buying PA, so I might have a support box.

From what I've read, Tanks are in a weird spot atm, are they still sought after in PvE parties? Or would SwS or BD be better? SR has been my favorite class of all time, and archers are pretty good for PvP, but I'm wondering how well they do here when it comes to PvE... Also, I saw summoners had their lvl 56 summons added. Does PS have death spike here?

There are no beast shots

If you level up a summoner, you probably shouldn't level a buffer. It will take forever, and your 56 summon can buff you just fine.

SR has been my favorite class of all time, and archers are pretty good for PvP, but I'm wondering how well they do here when it comes to PvE...

Simply go for SR (I would recommend PR but it's your choice)

I'm solo player as well, playing PR with PP box atm and it's more then OK.

Best for PvE in classic is ofc mage (AoE parties) but Archers are not so bad.

With proper buffs you will have a lot of fun exping it.

From time to time you will catch some RBP (RB are killed mostly by archers).

Simply don't think about it too much and.....

i think humans, and elfs summoners is the best choise for solo exp, not sr :DDD

If u want class u can solo go for sr + pp. If u want party class go for sws/tank they are needed for aoe farms

with any tank + pp you can solo well and also find pve group (raids, aoe parties).

I am not sure how archers exp except RBs and solo. I have never seen any small or big archer group.
