There's an event going on right now - while the prices for the event items are not great right now, it should still help you a bit to sorta catch up, even if you have to wait for ppl for party. As NWD mentioned, make your own party instead of waiting for one

But either way it's scary Innova sticking out its head again. I remember they've already tried to fight specifically this server in past - I think it ended up with club having to change its domain (it used to be l2classic.com in past), but that was about it. Not sure how far they could go if they wanted - there used to be talks about NCsoft shutting down private servers in the past, and I think right now they're realizing the danger of them more than ever since ppl are jumping off the NCwests' L2store hypewagon real quick

EU part is dead regardless and RU will always live because, well, it's RU. I mean ffs, there're even private Russian projects with real 10k+ online, Russians are never going to stop playing Lineage 2.

Important note there; it might sound obvious, but just to be sure - server is 3 years old, which means the vast majority of the players is 60+ (which is also a point when ppl usually join clans or CPs so they don't really use /matchmaking either), so the low lvl areas are not really a representative of the servers' overall activity.

The server is active mostly in the EU primetime, during which it's not that hard to find a party across most levels. Outside of that, you'll be mostly farming alone right now. But as YipMan mentioned, we're expecting new patch in the upcoming months after which the population will boom again - also, next week an event starts which is an amazing opportunity for new players to get a kickstart - if you're active, it's usually not a problem to farm up for high or even D weapon in one day during events Also, without trying to be too much of a fanboy, I dare to say that this server has definitely more potential than NCwest - this server has been running for over 3 years with more or less same online (outside of spikes), but the population on NCwest is dropping drastically due to their admins' decisions around the rates and P2W features. So if you're looking for a english-speaking Classic server without subscription fees, this is definitely the best option right now.

All prophecies have their purpose: CoV is best because WC won the NCsoft's random buff/nerf jackpot PoF is good if you need that extra p.def PoWi is good for fighter types PoWa is good if you accidentaly made EE because you hate yourself, and also your entire CP has all 3rd skills learned and you're absolutely positive you don't have any other purpose for the tabletki. I think the event has started already and the event items have been dropping for a while now, but now we wait 'till they fix the textures and stuff to actually see them in our inventories... Oh boy, I can't wait to see how many event items I've farmed so far! Thank you admins!!1

Nah, we're still on the 2.0 patch, just with some Zaken-update features added, like the mini epics.

Just a word of warning, a lot of people have WC boxed so you might find it rather difficult finding parties... Otherwise I agree to what was written above - I'm one of the ppl waiting for next patch to arrive here so in the meanwhile I tried the NCwest as well, but the more I play there the more I appreciate this server really

Restart is taking longer than expected because they're implementing the event. Is it the Halloween one or the 3rd anniversary one? That'll be a surprise ? /nevermind, server is up, I could login fine... Can't see event NPCs though.

Funny and all But the truth remains that a box locked behind a paywall remains number 1 reason why NCquitters skip this server alltogether

guess we need to differentiate between "choosing" and "actually staying". Leveling up solo cleric to relevant levels right now is something straight out of the land of dreams. Yeah BD and SWS are viable, but show me a guy who solos the buffers I mentioned, aka PP, or WC. 90% of these chars are boxes which makes the irrelevant at later levels anyway. Also funny mentioning lack of DDs, 'course we're going to lack DDs, DDs who don't want to pay for extra box will leave before 40.
