Also, since Classic chronicle is extremelly dependant on levels - you can't buy XP here, while you can heavily stack XP bonuses on offi, even now.

People are going to start coming back once NCsoft decides to screw the game with L2store. And they absolutely will do that, they're not bunch of upstanding gentlemen hoping to give the players the best experience possible, they're a company and they need to make money. People are just too hyped to realize this fact. Though, I have to agree that admins should come up with something because there're plenty of people who are dissatisfied about the ncwest's settings and are leaving, so there could be some kind of stimuli to attract them here.

It's going to take a while though - they're not going to break the game with the shop while people are level 20-30, they're going to wait until people spend more time on their chars so they're going to be more "tolerant" to that stuff. Bad news is that we're probably not going to get the Zaken patch in next couple of months because it simply wouldn't have the needed effect. Devs should probably have it prepared at around the beginning of winter when I expect the crap starting to appear in L2store.

You're right, well I mean it's EU prime and it's still 5k but it's pretty neat anyways, so it should still be over 2k by the end of the month. NCsoft did really good job with the hype... I'd say too much effort for too little reward - they said they're going to open a H5 server in the past (I'm still 98% positive the lineage.club was their project), but there's just not enough coders... Better focus on the developement of the current server

Depends on your patience. 0,5s is unplayble for many people, especially when you want to PvP. It might be ok for casual farm, but you don't spend X months leveling up your toon to... Well, just to farm. I think a lot of people coming from EU are about to get quite disappointed with the ping. But even then, NCwest is going to rule for several months to come. It's definitely fine to try it for some early PvP in Abandoned Camp, but I wouldn't switch there for one simple reason - it's NCsoft, and their main goal is obviously to generate profit. Even though they lowball on the NCstore now (if you can call paying 50$ a month for +50% item drop a lowballing), but they know very well that once people spend enough time on their toons and find the clan/CP/friends etc., they're going to be less likely to leave and thus they'll start pushing the NCstore to the limit. It's not some catastrophic scenario, it's just a common sense. It won't take long till it turns into a complete clown fiesta like the GD+ servers.

You do you, but before you decide to stick there, take a look at the current servers' NCstore - it's just a matter of time till it turns the same way for the Classic server. They're going to lure people in with soft P2W, but once people get to high levels where they just spent too much time to quit, they're going to step on the gas; I mean, the server didn't even start and they already offer these VIP bonuses - 50$ a month for +50% item drop (full drops are the biggest income source on early levels for patch 1.5), +25% XP bonus, +20%% finish exp and more. It's going to get realy messy as the time goes on. By the way, this server has OFF files as well.

It's definitely worth. Very often I see parties in /partymatching searching for a puller, which happens to be a tank or SWS/BD. They're very valuable in most any kind of party, even for RBs, which - alongside with the AoE parties - are where you want to spend most of your time to level up as quickly as possible

And that's a good thing, nothing like the 'do no harm' kind of healers which don't nuke/cast debuffs on enemies which loses the fight, pissing off everyone in the pt ?
