  1. ​Again... I already talked about it in my first post, duo = 30% bonus, trio = 35% bonus. Unless you're as you said on a spot where you can farm constantly without having to run long paths between mobs (LoA as you mentioned), taking a third member will slow you down on most farming spots, especially below 40 where it's most crucial, because most newbies will leave before reaching this "checkpoint". But it's all in my first post already... ​I don't want to be rude but at this point I'm not sure if you're trolling or not. All of your arguments are completely invalid if you read my post in whole, not just bold parts. Talking about excessive exp bonuses goes exactly the opposite way I headed in my first post. If you're trying to make valid arguments, please take a time to read the whole part
  2. Wall of text about nothing. Those who want to play together will play Cmon man, you apprently didn't even read beyond first paragraph, so why reply? The problem right now is that even if people were interested in joining in small party, they're basically being punished for it. We need to find an alternative suggestion to the party bonus.
  3. So here's the thing - many people came and are coming to the server for the good ol' Lineage. And feature-wise, Classic chronicle really provides a great experience in this way - there are no kamalols here, no attribute stones, no cloaks (yet, and hopefully never), no moirais, instances, gracias, no awakening quests, no max levels after 2 months, simply good old Lineage with a bit of extra. But, I think we're missing on one of the most important (I dare to stay cornerstone) part of the old Lineage: the random partying. Now, sure - many people are in CPs, which is amazing, but I'm talking about major part of the servers which are the players outside of these CPs. Everywhere you see people running around farming either alone or with a box buffer. You see all those people and when you open a partymatching, there're 10 rooms, out of which 7 or 8 are usually WTBs/WTSs. So here's the problem - people simply do not have motivation to look for party. Problem partly lies in the party bonus: Group Size Bonus2 30%3 35%4 40%5 55%6 60%7 70%8 80%9 100%^Here you can see that if you have a box buffer behind you, there's just no reason to look for another person into your party. The obvious solution would be to pump up the ~3 to 5 people party bonus, but using the common sense, this would inevitably lead to either of these: You increase the bonus enough for solo people to start looking for parties. But you can't just increase it for 3, 4 or 5 people parties, because people from 6 man parties would complain and possibly ditch less important members to maximize the efficiency. So you increase the bonus for everyone, meaning 9 people party would have to recieve at least additional ~20% bonus, which would only widen the middle vs top parties.You don't increase the bonus enough so people keep playing with only their buffers.So in the end, manipulating with fixed party bonus is not a solution. What I propose instead, is rewarding people for using the party matching. But before we get to the specific attributes of the new bonus system, let's highlight benefits which such change could bring: A great leap in finding the solution for new players' departure problem. Many newbies leave before hitting 40 simply because they have nobody to play with. There're many people >40 but major part of them are old players/friends of old players who have top D equip since 20 and newbies with weaker equip would only slow them down. Rewarding those people for using partymatching would greatly reduce the ammount of people leaving due to 'low low level activity'.Reducing the natural departure of players across all levels. Using partymatching and finding new people gives you opportunity to find new players. Having some friends on the server greatly increase your interest to play opposed to solo play. It's simple as that, no science in it.Accelerating the natural progress for old server. Let's face it. It's been one whole amazing year. We're old. Compared to most servers opened these days, Classic Club's Talking Island is real grandpa. And just like old people need more and more medicaments to stay healthy, so does old server need more and more progress enhancers to stay healthy and attractive to new players. NCsoft knew that since the game was released, that's why he kept making the game much easier with each new update (though some may argue that introducing Awakening quest in G.o.D. equeals to a 90 year old grandpa snorting 5 lines of cocaine, robbing a bank with a fork, riding a crocodile, stealing cops' car and crushing it into a bridge). New achievements in 2.0 certainly help a lot but there's no harm in dropping a bit of 'herbal medicine' as well.Now for the specifics of the new bonus system. Few things to keep in mind: New bonuses can't undermine the 'classic' core of the game. It should be noticable enough for people to start looking for parties, but it shouldn't get you to level 40 on a second day.Partymatching can be used by both level 25 derp dorfie (who doesn't realize why his brand new D grade makes him weaker than his old ) as well as by a level 70 BlyatDestroyer2000 who never plays outside of his constant party anyway. The bonus system should benefit primarily the first kind of player.So how should the new benefit work? Here are two examples: Everytime you find a party in Party Matching with a player you haven't played before, you get +5% XP/SP bonus for 60 minutes (effect disappears once the party is dismissed). It ain't much but gives people some motivation to look for new people and potentially finding a new friend you'll like to continue playing with. Personally I find this one pretty cute but I understand it may be very hard to code it.Everytime you find a party in Party Matching, you get +2% XP/SP bonus for 20 minutes. 24 hours reuse. This one is pretty simple. It's weaker than the one above because it's obvious that all constant parties will start their days with 'closed VIP club' partymatching for automatic bonus. However as long as the bonus is really as small as 2% for 20 minutes, it shouldn't intervene with the game at all.I've had a few similar ideas on my mind like a chance to get a 20 minute XP/SP item whenever you're in a party formed in party matching or simply having a party matching open, but those were even more difficult on the abuse-preventing side. The more I think about it the more I'm inclined towards the simplier, second option. But since the bonus is very low, there's one, probably the most important thing about this new system: IT'S NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU SELL, IT'S ABOUT HOW YOU SELL IT. What does it mean? Well, after you implement this change, there're several ways you can promote it - and since the bonus is low, it's important to not stress the exact bonus ammount as it could turn many people off - "2%? Oh why bother, I'm here just for few minutes anyway". The best way to sell the miserable 2% is to not specify the bonus at all. Keep the announcements simple - "New Party Matching system released - team up with new players to earn extra XP/SP bonus!" This way people will be inclined to try it, and even if they find out it's nothing special, the one party already gives them a chance to potentially find a new friend, so it fulfills its purpose. Thanks for reading. /discuss Also, please don't forget - this is not about giving players XP bonus, it's about promoting a teamplay and thus enhancing servers's health.

  5. Cmon guys, pump up the snowball drop rate... It's really frustrating to farm entire day to get 5 snowballs, 3 of them you'll lose in rock paper scissors and from the remaining 2 you get a Scroll: Shield and Scroll: Vampiric Rage as a mage which you can't even exchange for anything useful. I know I don't have right to complain about something that's free but as some points it feels just unnecessarily cruel. And I believe Christmas should be holidays of happiness, not misery, depression and torture. Note: to anyone who's thinking about writing some cheeky little scrub quote aka 'well you don't have to play if you don't like it' or stuff like that, I will just assume you look like this
  6. Happened to me recently, bought BO necklace for 1kk just I bet the previous owner wanted to sell it for 10kk, but its his fault.. Overall big NO for me, even now i have lags as fck in GH, i cqnt even imagine if the number of shops there goes higher... ​Happened to me too, wrote 1.999.999 price instead of 19.999.999 that i wanted to write, so i lost 18kk. And happened to me that i had SLS +0 to sell in 1 character and had SLS +8 in other, and i set up SLS+8 price like it was SLS +0 30kk when realy SLS+8 price is 85kk or similar, i had got 75kk offer. So i lost 45-55kk. We dont need to do things that arent helping us or not helping anyone. Set up shops each 24 hours or less is pointless having 2 restarts per week. Thanks. ​Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude If I had 75kk deal on my hands I'd probably even call Vatican and ask if Pope could kindly check so my trade is set up correctly.
  7. A bit offtopic, but I noticed you have equipped overgraded weapon - are the penalties not too limiting here? As far as I remember, carrying overgraded weapon was as good as having no weapon at all because of all the penalties... /beautiful poem btw I don't find myself involved in this drama, but why everyone is hating on Dee so much?
  8. Fully agree there. I assume this limitation was supposed to prevent 'ghost shops', aka people setting unreasonably high/low prices with little to no chance of selling/buying, so they're just wasting space there, but since we have 2 restarts a week, the 24 hours limitation is plain useless.

  11. ​Why do you even care about those dyes tho? I thought summoners were the class that benefits from this change the most. kill speed in solo pve is a lot faster with +12 dyes as a summoner. (every +4 str = 200 patk) since we will kill slower, we will use more beast shots (if/when we finally get them), since we cant assist our summon as much anymore. beast shots are insanely expensive +12 dyes open up a lot of build paths for summoners. I can go +12 dex and use a dagger, +12 str and use bow or duals. +12 con/men and just heal my summon. Without +12 dyes, I might as well be playing on an interlude server where beast shots only cost 24a each. Now I'm trully enlightened, now I finally awakened and realized that every change is meant to harm summoners here
  12. ​so new quests re so much usefull as all on the server 1000 years, End of Lamentation 1000q items = 28.106 adena, more adena i get in simple train this stuff is same for all quests, not a single Q is worth doing (well maybe class change re:)) ​/bump, still relevant sadly, quests are completely broken and should be looked at immediately.

  15. As a meatshield, I vote to keep it as it is. Because let's be honest, this adds a bit politics in the CS. You need to persuade as many meatshields as possible to help you with battle. Create more lowbie clans, feed them equip and they'll fight for you. If you bring XP loss at sieges, the numbers will massively drop because many lower equipped people will think to themselves it ain't worth losing exp if they just fall within 2 seconds anyway. I mean, you're not fighting on CS to make enemy lose exp, you're fighting there to conquer a castle, right?

  17. Well I decided to stop being poor so I made a spoil, however the spoil rate is kinda poor and still am I. The question is, how can I get rich around level 30? Which material should I be looking for? I figure SOP is pricey as hell but the lowest mob that could give me them is Windsus which is 39. So what should I aim at? Iron Ore? Animal Bone? Varnish? Coal? Animal Skin?

  20. ​i thought there must be some bug as well, but when i saw rizos going +9 bop like nothing, i was convinced its not so hard to do that (tho i failed my first enchant on server, bought emi+4 and 2x ewc, broke it on +5 so i had to sell the second enchant for cheaper price than i bought so i can afford akat :< ) ​Fighter weapons always had better rate. It's nothing wrong with 1 +9 bop on the server. It's only 70%^6= 8,23% flat chance even without fake enchant method. I had +8 myself back in c2 days (with fake ench). I dropped top d bow from a mob yesterday with 1\10000 chance - so it's possible. The problem is we have hundreds of oe above +8, especially magical weapons. Flat chance to have demon staff+12 is 0,00105%. for Homa+10 is 0,655%. For emi+14 is 1,38%. Needless to say that's not normal and should be cured. As I said - it is not a new problem and it has a good solution without taking oe weapons from people. Surely the first thing to do - is to check this bug closed (and possible bugs with 2.0 introduction). Otherwise we will have hundreds of SoM+++. And I have to remind the RULES of the server which is obviously violated in this case: 1.3 Take advantage of the server bugs. ​+1 And yes, some classes are getting more advantaje of the overenchanted weapons. Wizzards are range and his m.atk, his damage on hits is afected by the weapon m.atk so higher damage if they have +++ weapon. ​Exactly, I'm not even that much surprised when I see red fighter weapons because even on old servers there's always been that one guy with +16 duals, it's just the way the L2 is. But the problem is how many deep blue mage weapons there are. It's just insane. +11s, +12s, that's a product of mid rate or PvP servers, I would've never expected it on a server that has 'classic' in name and runs the slowest chronicle in Lineage history. There must have been some horrible error along the way, however as for now there's no way to justify taking away these weapons for players. It needs to be solved some other way. I stand by my previous suggestion, as to pimp up the upcoming A grade weapons so the top players eventually move on to them (because the way they are set right now, the +12 top C will stay a better deal). And mind you I'm not member of any large clan so I have 0 chance of laying my hands on A equip so I'm not being biased here.
  21. I've been playing since server start and I think I haven't made 15kk in total yet (sad true story, but I just play too little). Though recently I got Plated Leather Boots full drop so I'm going to level up a spoil and get riches

  24. ​Yeah that's actually a very good point. The upcoming SA system in 2.0 is quite different from the one we know, but I suggest it's tweaked a bit so the A grade weapons become more valuable in this way, because the current Star Wars situation is just shameful for the server.
