  1. HERE, arond 2:20. Video originaly posted in THIS THREAD. Not sure if the video is legit Classic, but it seems so.
  2. In classic, actually, you will want to have PP or SE, rather than WC, simply because WC will be some 10-20 level behind on buffs. He catches up, eventually, but by that time you farmed the entirety of classic ... inefficiently. Amulets, however, are easier to come by than books, which might very well even the scale. WC has much better solo, but still nothing, compared to summoners, whom people WILL want to have in parties. That is, if they are half smart. Archers can solo too, but summoners are the kings of rag-tag PvE.

Hi, Dual box on the same computer will only be allowed with premium account. Launch date is ... unknown.
  4. There was a video somewhere around the forum where a shaman did that. Might not have been classic though
  5. Mage party: SpS, SpS, PP, SE, EE, EE, EE, EE, EE ... guess not, Not enough mana to sustain two, gotta switch one for BD. PP, EE/BI, BD, SwS, HE, HE, HE, HE, HE. ..and "balance" my ass...
  6. Here is a point of view for you to consider: can you really afford both? With robe and some healing to make up for the lack of p.def. you will probably still have more mana though. Dreaming spirit + DoT + sit might keep you going even longer - if slower. Go with a party / clan. Make a scavenger or summoner or red Assassin to fool around at odd times when you can't get a decent party. PS: for blunt stun, keep an apprentice club, or just aim for a staff. You won't be dealing enough damage in party to make it matter anyways. PPS: blunt > all untill you get some agi and crit buffs, if you can find blunt weak monsters - that is like 1/3 of them at low levels. PPPS: never mind me, i don't know sh*t about orcs
  7. Anyway, like i said, account security Is not about compromising account, it's about compromising players, and no amount of software will fix that...
  8. Typing 4 digits is too much trouble for you? It's significantly more trouble for buffpets played on notebook with touchpad only (since you can't type it in with keyboard)
  9. There is, however one significant problem with raidbosses on low rates - they are not where you farm. And moving around is either expensive, or tedious. But yea, you will see bosses like ghost guilotine or dragon lilly dead most of the time.
  10. Okay, i guess... But that's why you play in clan. Also: 3x rates may not seem like much, but it makes a huge difference, you will probably be able to afford soulshot for main DD's eventually.
  11. 1) There were about 700 poeple when OBT started. Live should be a little higher. It's more than enough for the tiny world classic provides. 2) OBT 2 will start ... "soon" noone knows, really. You can help by submitting bug reports, preferably in the format: expected behaviour: * [link proving expectation] observed behaviour: * steps to reproduce the problem: *
  12. Well i didn't say it works there But putting someone's time and effort to bypassing bot protection on official server with thousands of players, yield a little more rewards, than doing it on one of the zillions of private servers...

    Maybe Kamaloka?

Nope. Up untill Gracia there are only low and mid C weapons, armor and jewelry in luxury shop. Top C stuff can be crafted no problem, but you won't be wearing B set in Classic 1.0, sorry
  14. Of course you CAN solo with ANY class + dual buff, It's just that some classes are better at it than others, by a factor of ten. But yeah dual box definitely helps, if you can afford it.
  15. Arrow aren't expensive, soulshots are, but since you won't be using them...
  16. Well, like everybody said. Go summoner. Or, if you can dualbox (with premium account or multiple PCs), then archer + PP, or mage + SE. That's about it, really....
  17. Summons can't use soulshots at all, but noone will be able to affor it consistently, with the exception of well organised AoE parties, so that's not really any difference in PvE. In PvP shots will be used, and summoner will sit and cry... Glad's sonic system has nothing to do with life steal (aka vampiric rage). It's just a limiting factor for his skills. Storm cubic will do about 2 hits worth of damage every 10th hit or so, life will heal about as much. They are rather expensive and definitely don't make TK a soloable char.
  18. Stolen accounts are stolen from people who gave them away, by people who got them - unless your password is password. I seriously doubt the off chance of someone putting the effert to hacking a private server is worth the effert on administration's and players' side... So i'd suggest just enforcing aplhanumeric + caps password, and use this to hinder botting instead, like Innova does. There's never too much protection against botters.
  19. Gladiator's 3rd class is called "Duelist". That describes him pretty well. Heavy armor, strong physical skills. Can win 1v1 against most classes, but doesn't get as much benefits from parties as archers or mages. Warlord is PvE god, cutting down dozens of monsters at a time with his polearm, but he needs a lot of support to do it. Worse than even dwarves in PvP. Sorcerer is a human mage. Well rounded, can AoE well, but will need a lot of mana later on. Temple knight, uh ... is the single worst PvE in the game. He's a tank, and tanks have very little use in this game, and even less on low levels (read: Classic), because until lvl 40, there is no difference between TK and SwS / SK and BD and they can easily substitute. And then they add buffs. So even your friend will want someone ... more usefull than a tank. Of all the tanks TK is arguably the most tanky, but has the least dps. Seriously, don't play TK unless you know what you are doing. If you really want to play a tank, play Dark Avenger instead. At least he has summon that can deal some damage, when buffed.
  20. Short: Yes Long: new build will be tested on high rates. When everything works as it should, there will be another wipe and the server will start live on 3x rates.

    Maybe Kamaloka?

Yeah, no... Afaik, only Keshamberk, Great sword (?) and Sword of Valhalla can be obtained in C1.0, and mixed low B armor pieces, but no sets. And certainly no top B*. Also i think there will be a lot more actual PvP before 2nd class transfer, than after that, never mind 50ish levels, After that, people will be too afraid to lose their precious XP's. Just my opinion though *I know you didn't say that, i just have very low confidence in other people understanding too, so this is my attempt at preventing confusion and a flood of stupid questions
  22. SwS is not a good choice if you want to FIND a party for two reasons: a) he's not that good for PvE, having mostly defensive buffs b) there is nothing until lvl 49 a BD can't do just as well or better that a SwS. Unless you count elemental heal and self ww.. Add to it the negligible damage output, and there you have it: SwS absolutely needs a clan AND a constant party. PvP a and the term "delayed gratification" come to mind. This makes him seriously a very bad pick for someone who asks for best solo... I'm still rolling one though
  23. Nobody. The grind in L2, and especially Classic is poorly designed, it's tedious and boring. It's the people that make this game what it is, and soloing for XY months is no fun at all. Unless you're a nolifer playing 10+ hours a day, in which case you'll end up doing HE + PP (+BD) multibox anyways. That being said, only summoners can solo without outside buffs somewhat effectively, that also includes mages, up until about lvl 45, but no more. You could go with a nuker, but you'll end up sitting down after two 1xHP monsters, when master recharge from your pet stops working, and BtM isn't THAT great, when you can't afford healing potions. You could go with an elemental summoner, but he lacks BtM. It's not that great, but still better than nothing at all. You could go with a necromancer, but with limited pet heal and buffs, he's not really a summoner, and without reliable nuke, he's not really a mage. He's badass in pvp though. You could go with a phantom summoner, but he lacks both master recharge and AoE spell (i think ), which is by far the most effective way to grind before 2nd class transfer. His pet has a VR passive though, which makes him the best strictly solo in the long run ... But only seriously very, very long run. And finally you could go with warlock, who can AoE (pre-40), can go nuking all day long simply juggling mana and/or HP back and forth between himself and the pet, and if it ever comes to that, he might get the Interlude queen cat buff, which is a godsend for any melee party.. Summoners, however, suck balls in pvp, because there are no pet soulshots in Classic ... yet. Everyone else can double their damage output for a price, but not summoners. Conclusion: PS, if you are POSSITIVELY dedicated to that hardcore solo grind all the way, or Warlock if you have any doubts. PS: All this info comes without any guarantees, i haven't played summoners in ... well, never, really
