Regarding Talismans

i'm ok with the other ones increasing only basic stats like p.def, m.def, etc, but these ones in my opinion are a bit too much overpowered.

w/o those talismans playing olympiad will be useless, 0 chance to outplay some classes which are debuff champions

​the problem is that they can use the same talismans as well. so we're back at square one.

if by debuff champions you mean fear-locking classes:

- any DA could just kite some talismans off, or pop up UD and wait until the talismans effects are off;

- kiting goes for every other class with fear, with the difference that they won't have any other tools except running around to avoid talismans effects regarding debuffs.

 

i still wonder why they didn't add buffs like mental shield in oly, considering that koreans love rng a lot.

​u can bait talisman on someone (pretend u are going to him, once u see him casting u retreat and kite it around pillar), use it at different time and try to get him with better corner cutting or if u have faster class (e.g. elves archer/dagger has like 10+ more speed than necro, so its much harder for necro to kite)

if DA uses UD talisman, it doesnt give him debuff resistance, so u can debuff lock him on that talisman and try to burst once he is out of it

every talisman has different uses, should be used with different timings and if one somehow messes up, u can turn that into advantage (e.g. i remember ppl trying to get 1 extra second on divine talisman on gracia final, however that cost them match, coz ppl canceled the casting one match started and 2 shotted them, just because they messed up)

Lol what is this discussion about? If you dont implement talismans it would be such a mistake. There wouldnt be a point to go oly, without mental shield/r.shock it would only be about who has better atk speed for stun or c speed for fear. 90% of classes wouldnt be able to win any match

as i said, i wonder why they didn't implement stuff like rs/mental shield in oly, because it looks to me that they put those talismans there just 'cause they were lazy trying to balance things out. at least in older chronicles you could self buff with mage staffs for mental, btb and other stuff.

for stun/paralyze there's also extra bonuses on gear, same goes for hold/sleep. yet there's nothing that works as mental shield.

 

as for kiting: i can't wait to see tanks pulling people to them with the new 76 skill in 2.0.

​RS was never part of the olympiad set buff, coz stun wasnt that strong tool back in the time, it wasnt needed at all, however atm even mental shield with RS wouldnt help u against debuffs, coz their landrate is simply too high

and for kiting vs DA, chain pull is your least problem because of kitty dmg and its cancel

U dont want treasure chest for daggers take some enchants armor/weapon but want talismas lol. Stars wars

​isnt it other way? that it would be star wars if there were treasure chests because it would flood server with more enchants => more over enchanted weapons?

​Not really cause most enchants would be available for sale and who would buy them ? The big clans that have more money.
