Warlord or Gladiator?

Recommended Posts

Warlord is much more sought after in CPs, gladiator is a niche class at the moment. As warlord your main responsibility will be to stun people and stun them a lot. Gladiator can do some nice damage but he runs out of mana very fast, so in world pvp he isn't that useful. Warlord's AOE stuns are priceless in world pvp and are one of the most important classes in every fight. If you do late game AOE PVE farm with your party at TOI, a warlord is mostly mandatory to keep the mobs stunned and help the tank not take too much damage, unless you want the tank to run around, which is very inefficient.

Bottom line is that Warlord can fit on every party and has tons of uses on almost every situation. As I said gladiator is a niche class and even on damage dealing he is overshadowed by its sister class, the tyrant. For small scale pvp Gladiator is very good, but on world pvp you will find out that he will run out of mana way before the fight ends and he will have to resort to auto attacks, which is very bad since gladiator is very reliant on skills.

gladiator is probably the weakest of the warriors considering party play, great solo pvping class, but except that it will downfall even more in future updates the moment every class will get small lion heart with BW sets and they will be immune to most of the stuns (thats the advantage of gladi right now, LH resisting stuns and anchors and UE, which is good even in future updates, but still)

choice very simple, if you want party plays -> warlord, if you seek for strong gank class -> gladiator
