Read what i wrote. Namely: "STR increases base p.atk. (so that has negligible effect) but also critical damage multiplier (about 1% per point or so, but it adds up)." So with -STR and better dagger you have more p.atk (because of the dagger), but lower critical damage (due to lower STR).

Well, it is and it is not. For most people it is classic enough. However this is "Classic", not "a classic". A distinct game version produced by NCsoft (except the translation, rates and some minor adjustments). So this server will be that Classic and there is very little point in arguing about it.

Well, that is true, but... The basic concept behind classic is that you need to cooperate in order to be successful. That means cooperate with real, live people. If we allow dual box, it will be just another low rate server with limited content. Certaintly not what people, who want Classic, came for.

Guys, please, if you are not sure about your english, please provide us with a meaningful text in your native language as well. We can work something out with Google tranlator, but we need something to start with. Some of those posts make my head hurt... It is not fair, Lineage is a bad, bad game, if you want fair. And this works exactly the same on official servers.

What is the point (from players perspective) of alowing dual box for limited time? Honestly: dual box is bad, but it is too good to pass on. I'd prefer you ban it completely. A boxed PP equals bot PP, 19 minuted out of 20. Also: untradable hats would be a great incentive to donate without affecting gameplay.

Well, I agree that the quests in classic suck even harder than those in the original game (that is something, you know?). Maybe if we could upscale them a bit, like killing 100 fungi for 9k adena, instead of 10/900, that might make them less useless without breaking the balance too much.

Well, if you really want old Lineage, there are plenty of other server, but honestly aside from few details breaking the immersion, it provides "classic" enough experience for most people.

I don't see why they shouldn't teleport at all, but the animation definitely needs fixing, as well as geodate in Cruma. I mean Perum's animation, Porta didn't teleport in beta 1, IDK if they should (but probably yes...).

Actually, VS only gives about 10% dmg boost, and SS only increases the p.atk. portion of the calculation. STR increases base p.atk. (so that has negligible effect) but also critical damage multiplier (about 1% per point or so, but it adds up). VS, crit. power passive, and crit. power SA are, and always have been, pretty much useless, because of the way they are calculated (DW, dance of fire, CoV, queen's blessing all add up %, before damage being multiplied by soulshots, while the rest only adds a small amount at the end. Also: TH has exactly the same CD passive as AW, he only lacks some STR. Other physical skills work pretty much the same, except they are not affected by anything related to critical dmg, and they are used with stronger weapon and are generally weaker. Therefore equipment has greater effect on the final damage, but still not as much as in old Lineage, because power of most physical skills has been increased in GoD. Skills that "have a chance to crit", like gladiator's, only have a chance to do double damage that is based solely on STR afaik.

I have never clicked on a post in a message that i had the slightest doubt is the other person trying to show me something he genuinely finds interesting. I also automatically block everyone who spams crap like this. One in a hundred? Yeah, i wanna play against those.... Also: i don't have 30 useful contacts in my phone, never mind Skype.

May not be what you remember from prelude, but: Even with CP's, PvP is retardedly short in most cases, simply because Lineage is a game that favors offense in both PvP and PvE. Nothing worng with raid bosses. Having C1-style bosses would be sunjectively nice, but probably more trouble than it's worth. Afaik monsters had those exact same passives ever since prelude, they just weren't shown in the client until Interlude. If nothing else, it adds some variety to the otherwise super-monotonous PvE aspect of the game

Ok, whatever. I didn't say you will never use a single soulshot. Of course you will be able to use them, consistently even once you get to higher levels. But that is months of grind away, and by that time, the people, who are used to burn them straight from level one, will be long gone.

Dude, half of the monsters have different names than they had in old Lineage, including quest monsters. Either you can edit them in your own npcname_classic-e.dat, then gracefully provide the rest of us with the file, or you can take it as it is...

Same as GoD, actually: For 60 seconds, P. Atk. + 12%, Atk. Spd. + 15%, P. Critical Rate + 12, P. Critical Damage + 12%, and Spd. + 12. Additional Accuracy + 8 and P. Atk. + 10% when using a two-handed sword, two-handed blunt weapon, or spear. Available when HP is 60% or lower. Point being it is not the +400% p.atk awesomeness it used to be. Plus constant reuse.

damage of skills is not based on p atck , increase your p atck and check the dmg of skills are the same with lower p atck It is, even for daggers. But the effect of p.atk. is marginal.

Sure, party vs party skirmishes should be common, and OL is still good in those, but he's not the gamebreaker in those, that he is in true mass pvp. That being said, overlords suck at PvE, hard.

For physical skills, the power listed in description is directly added to your p.atk.. Since power of physical skills has been inceased, that of course means p.atk. has less impact on the final damage. Soulshots only double the p.atk of your weapon, not the skill - afaik for all standart skills and definitely for dagger blows.

Don't worry. with a tank they are just as easy to kill with minions as without them, They have amazing drop rates for karmian/PL accessories and spawn rate is the only real limiting factor. Of course, every single person on the server will contest them.
