I'm 50/50 on this. Giran Harbor's very convenient, especially with the shop search function; however, empty towns are really unappealing, and take away from the good old L2 nostalgia.

​Yo man! I took a break for quite a while too. I've got a few old buddies in COMAdrejass from SIN, and overall, the new wickedsick parties are the only groups that match my playable prime. The server's constantly going through changes, so we'll see what it brings next with clans and wars.

​It's a combination of sorts: hardware is a stock ASUS ROG G752VL; recording program is Nvidia ShadowPlay; and editing and rendering program is the good old Windows Movie Maker. WMM is a powerful tool as long as you know how to coordinate the settings of the recorded footage, with your save settings. The population seems to be less than compared to 3-4 months ago, however, there is still a population here, and there are lots of newcomers and newly-formed clans. I think rather than saying the population decreased, I believe the population has just dispersed itself differently. The server is no longer 2-sided with high-levels only. All of the hardcore no-lifers who wanted to rise to the top, have either taken a break, quit, or slowed down. There is a new dynamic, and if you've been here since the start, you would have to agree. The forum threads are no longer QQ threads. The GMs are still actively addressing in-game reports and client-side suggestions. And, as previously mentioned, this server has been up and running for 9 months now. I have to admit, there is tenacity in this server's administration and its community. This server has had a few periods or phases that could not be helped due to Classic update releases. It's also had distinct clan wars and politics, and a struggling market. I think its growing pains are over, and now it really has potential to attract newcomers, but also nourish its veterans.

Honest two-cents: In hindsight, this thread should've been made ~3 months ago, or during the horrendous stall leading up to--and during--the 1.3 patch, hearing out and opening up to the community at its peak, instead of ignoring forum threads, and jokingly replying "Soon." to everything. You'll get your newcomers here and there, but if you think they're going to stay and commit to the grind to catch up to a "playable" level (66+ by now?) and find a force that adds any excitement to what is now a 1-sided server, well, good luck.
