Event: Classical Squash!

Dear friends!

Today we (Kse, San0 and Koll) are celebrating 1 year of work on this wonderful project!
And so, we decided to launch for You a new Event which a lot of players were asking for!
Get ready for the Squash fest!

From September, 23 till October, 14 hunt monsters all over the map (20+ level) and get from monsters drop Nectar, Cloned Squash Seeds and Cloned Large Squash Seeds

Bring Nectar to the Puss the Cat in any town. 

He will offer you to exchange them for various items:

 Squash seed in exchange for 1 Nectar
 Large Squash seed in exchange for 50 Nectars

Weapons:
 Chrono Unitus in exchange for 10 Nectars
 Chrono Campana in exchange for 10 Nectars
 Chrono Darbuka in exchange for 10 Nectars
 Chrono Cithara in exchange for 10 Nectars
 Chrono Maracas in exchange for 10 Nectars
One of these musical weapons (by your choise) is required in order to smash open Squashes.

Now it's the time to summon and grow a Young Squash!

Double-click on a Squash Seed or Cloned Squash Seed in your inventory to summon a Young Squash.

Help the Young Squash grow by using Nectar on it. To do this, target the Young Squash and right-click on Nectar in your inventory.

A squash will disappear 3 minutes after summoning no matter what state it is in, so be sure to cultivate it with Nectar and smash it open before it disappears!

After consuming 5 Nectars, the Young Squash will grow into a Defective Squash or High Quality Squash. A Large Young Squash will grow into a Defective Large Squash or High Quality Large Squash. A squash will only evolve once into one of these two possible states, depending on the seed used. After it has evolved, Nectar can no longer be used on the squash, and it is time for the squash to be smashed.

Get your Chrono weapont and have fun!

 

A regular Squash can be cultivated and opened by a single player easily.

A Large Squash can be cultivated easily but it is difficult to open a Large Squash alone. Group up with friends that all have Chrono Weapons and take on the Large Squashes together to ensure that you open it in time.

Also - is there any difference between the real seeds and the cloned seeds (which you drop from mobs)?

Aaand how many people does it take to take down the large squash? Are 2 enough or you need more?

on drop and function theres no diference, just ones u get from monsters and others from npc.

i believe u might need more.

we will be checking that tomorrow with server restart. we think we know what the problm might be and how to solve it, shouldnt happen anymore after tmorrow restart if we are correct.

1. small pumpkins dissapear at random before u full feed them and they grow, some dissapear some not.
2. u need to use more nectars than 5 to feed it so she grow, not like its written in quest info here on forum

Straw hat is the higher reward on th event its something not for everyone. Grasshoper its just for fun and to look stupid so u can offer it to your friends.

​Because you guys pissed off RNG fairies. Lineage 2 has always worked as a justice scales - why did my homu crash on +4? Why did that mob finished me with a soulshot+critical hit? Why am I not getting good stuff from pumpinks?

It's because you haven't been good to other people in RL  I don't like patting my own back (I do), but I got EWB from a small squash once

EWB 3%

Proof of blood 10%

And all this items together doesn't give 100%, so if non of the items chance worked to drop - it drops QHP.
