  2. I can only speak for myself but i believe there will be others too. I believe it is time to finally accomodate the wish to have a fresh classic server starting from 1.0 and gradually update slowly to what we have atm. Make it hard to lvl up so it will last us more this time around. We need another "HOME"

  3. The Antharas raid on Dion server has been running for several months. To suddenly turn it off because a few enemy clans asked for it feels like "GM interference in the game". This is unfair. On Talking Island server, Antharas has been respawning on a consistent schedule for years. For years!!! Fairly!!! Every 10 days!!! So why is Antharas respawn disabled on Dion, but still enabled on Talking Island? It would be fair if both Dion and Talking Island had Antharas respawns on. If it is hard to change while respawns are active, the fair way is to announce a consistent respawn schedule. [If even this is not accepted, then please also turn Antharas off on Talking Island.] [That would at least be fair.] (If Antharas respawns are turned off, then for some time there will be no Antharas on Dion or Talking Island. The result is clear. Players who already own Antharas Earrings will make huge profit from price increase. Item balance will be broken.) (Do you think this is a good outcome?) Key Point: Turn on Antharas respawns on both Dion and Talking Island. No problem—just turn it on, whether respawns are consistent or random. Please share your opinion. This topic will cover the changes coming to DION x3 server in next monday - 21.04.2025 1 - HUNTING ZONES 2 - ITEMS 3 - NEW EPIC BOSS - ANTHARAS 4 - OTHER CHANGES 5 - NEW FEATURE - EPIC SLAYERS BANNERS HUNTING ZONES The Hunters guild recovered from one of their expeditions to some ancient temple's library some scrolls mentioning 2 ancient tribes that have been at war since the beginning of their existence. The Ketra orcs and the Varka silenos. Scrolls talk about a mysterious island, with some especial power and some unique relics hidden within. They talk about how this tribes have battled each other for ages in order to gain control over that island, not only for the chance of finding this relics, but due to the strategic position of the island being it was a completely isolated place from the rest of the world and hard for someone to attack it so it would be a very safe outpost for any tribe at war. Reading this, the hunters guild immediately decided they wanted to study this island and this tribes, not only to know what war secrets and combat tactics this tribes might have (being them a warrior tribe for so long sure they would have something you could learn from), but also they were very curious about this relics the scrolls talked about, with some passages of the text mentioning "ancient weapons of great power". They formed a expedition led by Master Hunter Helena, a very young but very skillful hunter in the guild. When the expedition arrived to this mysterious island, they figured out something was not as much as the scrolls described. Upon landing on the island they right away start feeling a wicked feeling of intimidation, like something was living there that they have never seen before, or even heard about it before, and its power was so huge that they could feel it in the air around them... This island definitely had some wicked power about it. When they ventured in the island they quickly realized the stories from the scrolls were no longer real. You could indeed find some ruins and reminiscences of what once might have been a Varka outpost, and not further ahead what was left of a Ketra village, but this tribes no longer live in here. Houses still standing, you can still see their flags up on the poles, there is still weapons and armors and daily utensils laying around, but no sign of any living creature that once belonged to this tribes... Not even any bodies... Shocked by what they found on their first day of expedition and with the fall of dusk, the expedition decides to go back to the beach and set camp for the night. There is more to investigate tomorrow. As the night sets, weird noises can be heard from inside of the island, sometimes heavy stomping, sometimes loud roars, and sometimes just a so strong silence that could make their souls chill. Helena wakes up next morning just to find she is the only one left in the encampment. All the gear from all members is still around, all their equipment, cloths, tools, everything still there, except the members of the team themselves. Left alone in this new mysterious world, young Helena made this her home and decided she would figure out all about this island, being it what now seems to be faulty information from the ancient scrolls, or something else that is going on in that Forgotten Island. RELEVANT ZONE INFO - Recommended levels: 79+. - Characters under level 76 are not allowed in this territory and will automatically be teleported out of the island. - When escapes are used on the island character will be teleported to Aden. Outside zone recommended group: Solo / small group. Inside zone recommended group: Full group. - Monsters on the island are mostly all social and will help each other. - Monsters on the island are mostly aggressive. Pterosaurs patrol the inside part of the island and are slightly stronger then the rest of the monsters and use a set of different debuffs that can go from simple bleeds to stronger debuffs like paralyze. Tyrannosauros can spawn ANYWHERE in the full island, they are much stronger then the rest of the monsters and its advised to not take on them alone. Sailren is the boss of the island, he lives in a hidden cave and will come out only to feed, or to fight whoever is crazy enough to challenge him. Helena is your friendly NPC in the island. You can talk with her to buy normal grocery items, especial items or to challenge Sailren. ITEMS Together with Frogotten Island territory, a new array of weapons A grade will be available. - This weapons can only be obtained in the Forgotten Island. - Different recipes and parts can be spoiled in the different monsters both on solo and group area. - Pterasaur can give by spoil any recipe or part. - Tyrannossaurus can give by spoil or drop any recipe or part. - Sailren has a small chance of droping the full item. - Create Item level 8 is required to be able to craft this items. NOTE: As of this moment Dion Sailren will not be dropping Forgotten Scrolls for the Rune skills. NEW EPIC BOSS - ANTHARAS Antharas the Land Dragon has arrived to the club to wreck havoc on everyone who dares to face it. To face Antharas you need to dwell inside of the deeps of her lair. Deep inside Lair of Anthars you will find the Heart of Warding. This is the seal keeping her locked inside of the nest and protecting us all from what would be the world if this evil beast would roam free. The bravest adventures can try to challenge her by using a Portal Stone on the Heart of Warding to be allowed to go inside of her nest. Up to a max of 200 players can port inside to face her at one time. Be advised this is a foe like you never faced before, a daughter of a goddess, a dragon creature born out of evil, hate and spite with only one propose in life, destroy all that exists in the world in the name of Shilen. Bound to be the hardest challenge adventurers have to face since their path started. During the fight Antharas uses a huge list of different type of skills, some of them are only debuffs like paralyze and fear or curses, while other are some devastating damaging strikes, some of them are usually telegraphed by some specific movement she does before using the skills, try to study it to get the hang on whats going on in other to avoid getting your raid force obliterated by some of her skills. At certain stages of raid Antharas will call for the help of her Behemoth Dragons, this counts as a boss itself and will, if survive for long enough, enrage like normal bosses. Make sure you have either someone to control this or you kill them as they spawn to avoid extra chaos. At random occasions Antharas will also spawn a zerg of little dragon bombers, this one will spawn, run from center of the room to the walls and explode when their path finishes, make sure you are no where around one of them by then to avoid massive damage. By defeating Antharas players can obtain a lot of high end items including a new epic jewel - Antharas Earring. NAME EFFECT Antharas Earring mdef 74 mp+9 bleed resist/attack + 5% stun resist/attack +5% Mental resist/attack +5% Healing power +6% MP consumption + 3% Vampiric rage +2% In order to enter Antharas nest player need to obtain a portal stone. this item will be consumed by the Hear of Warding to allow the player to move inside of the nest. Every player wanting to go inside has to have on inventory a Portal Stone. To obtain portal stone players must complete the quest "Audience with the land dragon" Quest "Audience with the land dragon" can be started after lvl 76 by talking with Gabrielle in Giran Town next to the CH auctioneers NPCs Antharas will spawn 20 minutes after the first player ports inside. If no one attacks Antharas for a long time She will go back to sleep and kick everyone out of the nest. Antharas respawn time will be 10days +12h of random window. A CC of at least 25 people is needed to enter antharas lair. As per usual on new added epic bosses ANTHARAS WILL BE DEAD ON THE UPDATE DAY AND START SPAWN WINDOW FROM THAT SAME TIME. NOTE: To better accommodate the community state in terms of player base and gear levels on Dion server this antharas is a heavily nerfed version of antharas, We will monitor it closely in order to understand if more nerfs or buffs are needed in close future. OTHER CHANGES We understand sometimes is very frustrating for players to spend a long time to set up and kill epic raid bosses and at the end come out empty on terms of loot, sometimes even for multiple kills in a row. In order to try to combat this feeling, not only we are increasing chance of drops for epic jewels to 50% for all epics, as we are also adding a new item to the game in order to make it less painful if that coin toss doesnt go your way. With this new items jewel fragments, even if the boss doesnt drop your epic jewel, you can work your way into one. - Epic Jewell Fragment added to all epics and epic priests. - Epic Bosses have 100% chance to drop this fragments. - Epic Bosses Priests have a smaller chance of dropping this fragments. - Players can save this fragments and after a certain amount trade them on NPC Baggins for a respective epic jewel of the fragments they have. - Number of fragments required to exchange for a jewel are based on their spawn times, difficulty and power and goes as: Queen Ant - 6 Core - 6 Orfen - 6 Zaken - 4 Baium - 4 Antharas - 3 - Zaken HP/PDEF/MDEF reduced by 20%. - Zaken lvl 3 is now available on NPC Baggins. - Some adjustments were made to drop lists of Queen Ant, Core and Orfen in order to better match their higher level status (instead of lvl 40/50), so it can drop B grade items in a more constant and reliable way. Besides this groups changes, some new items were added to this bosses drop table in separated groups in order to make it more rewarding for the players who decide to hunt them. The new items added are: Life Stones (normal, mid and high) Enchant Armor A grade Enchant Weapon A grade Gemstone A grade Cloth Piece Greater Dye +4-4 (all types) Spellbook Box - 3rd Class Transfer NEW FEATURE - EPIC SLAYERS BANNERS After the slaying of a epic boss, an announcement will happen and a banner will now appear in Giran for a limited time that players can talk to and receive a buff. Banners will appear in center of Giran town. - QA/Core/Orfen banners gives lvl 1 buff: +30% EXP/SP, +1 to all Stats. - Baium/Zaken banners gives lvl 2 buff: +30% EXP/SP, +2 STR/INT, +1 DEX/WIT/MEN/CON. - Antharas banner gives lvl 3 buff: +30% EXP/SP, +2 STR/INT/DEX/WIT, +1 MEN/CON. - This buff last one hour and stays after death.

  8. The Dion server is not in a good state. Most players now run nine accounts by themselves and play only solo. Players hunt only altar raid bosses and no longer do field hunting. Party play has disappeared; everyone simply runs nine accounts alone, farming badges to kill altar raid bosses. Primeval Isle is no different—it has become nothing more than a place to farm talismans. The excessive experience provided by the Ketra and Varka altar raid bosses has eliminated field party play. As field party play has disappeared, the number of PvP encounters with enemies has dropped drastically. There is less time spent talking with friends and clan members. Everyone just hides and farms badges on their own. In addition, allowing unlimited accounts on a single computer has become poison to the Dion server. Lineage II is a game where multiple players form parties and hunt together across many different fields, but the Dion server is no longer like that. Like the Talking Island server, it is becoming barren and dried up. At this point, reverting the unlimited-accounts-per-computer policy is extremely difficult. That makes the situation even more disappointing. 1. Experience rewards from field monsters must be significantly increased. Bottles are not the solution. Bottles are not enough. Players should be able to level up at a reasonable pace without being forced to hunt altar raid bosses. Simply hunting together in the field while talking with friends and clan members should be enough to level up. 2. Experience rewards from altar raid bosses must be significantly reduced. Party play while hunting field monsters should provide the best experience rewards. Just as the experience from the Antharas raid boss was reduced, the experience from altar raid bosses should also be drastically lowered. Altar raid bosses should be reduced to content mainly for obtaining items such as the Researcher’s Earring. 3. Primeval Isle should also have its experience rewards increased, similar to Ketra and Varka, so that party hunting can take place there. As it stands, Primeval Isle is still a hunting zone with poor experience rewards. Players go there only reluctantly for Primeval Talisman farming. 4. Abandoned hunting zones should also provide better experience rewards. Experience should scale smoothly across hunting zones— Antharas’s Lair → Tower of Insolence → Giants’ Cave → Ketra / Varka / Primeval Isle— so that players can hunt in a variety of locations. When field hunting disappears, the game disappears with it. As a player who truly loves the Dion server, I am writing this in the hope of doing even a little to help save it.   11. Greetings, Adventurers! Did you ever think Gatekeepers were just statues standing all day, teleporting travellers for a fee? They may look like that now, but in the past, they were elite members of the army. On the battlefield, Gatekeepers had a crucial role: to instantly teleport critically wounded soldiers to safety, where healers could tend to them. They had no offensive, defensive, or healing magic—only their Hide and Dash skills to avoid danger. Soldiers depended on them completely. In the most desperate situations, Gatekeepers could not afford to make mistakes. Now, if you have reached level 60, you have the chance to step into their shoes and join the Gatekeepers’ Training! How to Participate Find the Event NPC – A special Gatekeeper will appear in Giran every 4 hours: 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00 (Server Time) An announcement will be made before each spawn. Join the Training – Speak to the Event Gatekeeper NPC to register. You will have 15 minutes after the NPC spawns to register. The registration area is a peaceful zone. While waiting, you can: Stay in the lobby until teleport. Run to the gates, transform into a Gatekeeper, and set up your skill bar. Teleport to the Arena – 1 minute after registration closes, participants are teleported to the Training Arena. Upon teleport, you will automatically transform into a Gatekeeper and gain 4 event skills: Hide Backstab Dash Teleportation Objective Eliminate Opponents – Use Backstab to take out all other Gatekeepers in the Arena and other skills to avoid being Backstabbed. If you get backstabbed, you’re eliminated! Rescue the Citizen – Once the Arena is clear, find the Citizen NPC and use Teleportation on them to teleport them to safety. (There are 3 Citizens on the Arena, so each Training can have up to 3 winners) Time Limit – The Arena session lasts 20 minutes from the moment you are teleported in. Relogging inside the Arena will remove you from the event. As soon as Training time is off, everyone will be moved back to town. Rewards When you successfully rescue the Citizen, you will receive a Gatekeeper’s Chest, which contains: 10 Solidus OR 1 cosmetic item (available in the Event Gatekeeper Exchange Shop) Event Duration 📅 11 August 2025 – 12 September 2025 ⚠ Client update required to see Event NPCs and Items. Dear players! ✨ Spice Up Your Farm – New Automatic Event: Make It or Break It! ✨ To bring some excitement to your day-to-day farming, we're happy to introduce our first automatically triggered event! This is just the beginning—many different random events will be added in the future. But for now, let’s welcome the first one: 💥 Make It or Break It! 💥 How to activate the event: Just hunt monsters in the same region (Goddard, Aden, etc.). Once enough monsters are defeated, NPC Noos will appear in the respective city for 60 minutes and make an announcement. Talk to Noos to Join the Fun! When Noos appears: Speak to him to receive a Skilled Enchanter Box. The box contains a Guardian Weapon and 35 Scroll: Enchant Guardian Weapon. Your goal? Enchant the Guardian Weapon and return it to Noos for a reward. 🧩 The better the enchant level, the better the reward! (You can check the rewards list directly from Noos.) ❗ Don’t worry if you fail! Failed enchantments simply reset the weapon to +0. The weapon itself is never destroyed. 📦 A Few Important Notes: You can only participate in the Event if your character has reached level 20 You can only receive a new Skilled Enchanter Box once every 2 hours, and only if you’ve returned your previous Guardian Weapon (enchanted or not) Unused Scrolls are not removed when you return the weapon, so feel free to save them for your next attempt! Hello lovely community.As i see the online its not so big but still people enjoy play.For now is 1+2 box with premium acount.Since party room is always empty i suggest at least to increase the boxing clients at 1+4 or more so you can have 1 main dd +bd+sws+se at least for effincient farm after 70lvl+ if you dont have any friends to play with because of many reasons(work/time/ or you are just an alone rider.Sadly not all people have 2 or 3 laptops/ pc to do that.Thats my suggenstion.Thanks in advance.

  16. Hello. No NPC buffer, you can get buffs from Achievement system. Limit is 1 free box per PC, so 2 PCs = 2 free boxes in game. There are no pets in Classic. You can send item via Mail system ( but only items that you can trade ), you don't need to have 2 boxes online at same time for it.

We already witnessed all of this on the Talking Island server. It’s deeply disappointing to see the management repeating the exact same mistakes." I strongly agree that you should gain a lot of experience from field hunting. "Humans repeat the same mistakes" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   18. At present, the PvP environment on the Dion server is severely tilted toward one faction. The most urgent issue that needs to be addressed is restoring this balance. This imbalance is clearly visible across multiple aspects. The total number of active players, the number of characters above level 81, and most importantly, the class composition of level 81+ characters specialized for PvP combat are all overwhelmingly concentrated on one side. To overcome this situation, the disadvantaged faction needs a stable and continuous leveling environment. However, under the current conditions, this is extremely difficult. Antharas raids, Altar farming, and general field hunting are all under constant monitoring and harassment. As a result, for the weaker faction, stable progression has become nearly impossible. With the current, limited selection of hunting zones, players in the disadvantaged faction are constantly exposed to enemy surveillance and are immediately attacked, which severely disrupts efficient leveling. What is most urgently needed is the provision of multiple alternative hunting areas where the weaker faction can avoid constant monitoring and interference. These hunting zones should provide reasonable efficiency not only for full 9-member parties, but also for small groups of 3–4 players, as well as solo farming. If such support is provided, it would greatly contribute to the long-term restoration of faction balance on the Dion server. In addition, the decision to change the Antharas respawn time to a random system, based on claims of “unfair competition,” has ultimately worsened the imbalance rather than resolving it. In the past, when the Antharas respawn time was predictable, both factions were able to prepare their maximum forces in advance, and competition was so intense that large-scale PvP battles often broke out even before the raid officially began. However, one faction raised objections, claiming this system was unfair, and the respawn was eventually changed to a random format. Under the current random respawn system, the dominant faction assigns a large number of players to conduct 24-hour monitoring during the possible respawn window, allowing them to form response parties and log in within just a few minutes of Antharas spawning. On the other hand, those who previously complained about unfairness are not even attempting such monitoring. To be honest, under these circumstances, continuing with the random respawn system is not a serious issue for us. As we have done so far, we will continue 24-hour monitoring and we will continue to secure Antharas. That said, reverting the respawn time to a fixed schedule, as it was in the past, could be seen as an act of consideration for players who are not even making the most basic effort. Finally, we would like to make a request to the disadvantaged faction. Before claiming unfairness, should there not at least be an equal level of effort made first?

  19. The dominant side will never allow the weaker side to freely run altar raids. In reality, except for the Dokdo clan, no one is able to do altar raids at all. Because altar raids take place in very limited spaces, they have ended up benefiting only the dominant side even more. What’s needed is a model where players can hunt and fight together with their party members and clan members in wide, open field hunting zones. That is why the proposer seems to be suggesting an increase in experience in field hunting areas. (If the concern is the rapid consumption of leveling content, that issue could be addressed by increasing the amount of experience required for levels 83, 84, and 85.) In addition, the random respawn of the Antharas raid is also being monopolized by the dominant clans, who have smoother and more efficient communication. If Antharas were to respawn at a fixed time (based on the death time), as in the past, I believe the disadvantaged side would have a fair chance to challenge it as well. This would also lead to much more PvP. Because the disadvantaged side is made up of multiple clans, they are inherently at a disadvantage when it comes to coordination and communication. That said, the changes you’re proposing are quite significant, and it wouldn’t be appropriate to move forward based on a single forum post alone. Decisions of this scale require much broader feedback from the community so we can properly evaluate their impact on different playstyles, and the long-term balance of the server. Regarding some of the points you raised: The reduced amount of PvP is not primarily caused by the lack of account limits, but rather by the current dominance of your side. Removing account limits actually helps the opposing side reach the level cap faster, as different players can run the same group at different times. Reducing experience from bosses in Altars would remove one of the few viable ways for them to catch up, leaving mob farming and epic bosses (such as Antharas) as the main progression paths. Since your side controls Antharas, this would likely increase the existing imbalance rather than reduce it. Bottles were introduced specifically so we could quickly and precisely buff certain mob types without affecting bosses in the same areas. This gives us flexibility to adjust progression where needed without causing unintended side effects. We would genuinely like to hear more detailed feedback on why you believe bottles are not an effective solution. We encourage other players to share their perspectives as well, so this topic can be discussed with a broader range of experiences in mind.   27. There are only around 50-100 active players on the server - no one is really farming Dinos anymore. Many players already stopped farming Ptero Talons, even though they’re worth around 30kk. If the price drops further, no one will farm them at all. The reason the Primeval Talisman costs around 20kkk isn’t because Ptero Talons are overpriced - it’s because you only get 0–2 Talons per hour. It just doesn’t make sense to invest that much time for such poor returns. And remember, the people who actually farm Dinos aren’t beginners - they’re well-equipped players who already have better ways to make money. Meanwhile, poorer or lower-level players simply can’t farm Dinos effectively because of the strong enemies and competition. You need good gear, strong buffs, and proper support to survive there. It’s not like a solo low-geared player can just go there and start farming Talons freely, especially with such a small player base.

It is therefore unreasonable and unfair that only the Dion server remains restricted. Players have waited patiently, but this situation has now dragged on for far too long. Also so you can't just spam tones of them instantly ( decreasing load on NPC server a bit ). We will add exchange closer to end of the event, but you will lose a bit by using exchange option.

Subject: Suggestion Regarding Soul Bow Attack Speed and DPS Balance for Archer Classes To whom it may concern, I would like to share a concern regarding the current balance of A-grade longbows, specifically the Soul Bow and Shyeed’s Bow, in Lineage II Classic—particularly how they compare unfavorably to lower-grade weapons like the Hazard Bow and even the Bow of Peril in terms of DPS. ⚔️ Test Setup & Observations A comparison was conducted between: Soul Bow +3 (A-grade, P.Atk 552) Hazard Bow +3 (B-grade, P.Atk 424) Both bows were tested under identical conditions: Character: Level 78 Ghost Sentinel No buffs applied Target: NPC Holly (Aden Town Store) Attack Count: 40–54 swings for each weapon ❗ Key Issues 1. Unexpectedly Low Attack Speed Even considering that Soul Bow is a longbow, it shows a lower number of attacks per minute compared to the B-grade shortbow Hazard Bow. This contradicts the behavior seen in D-grade bows, where both longbows and shortbows share the same number of attacks per minute, indicating an inconsistency in weapon design across grades. 2. Lower DPS Despite Higher Attack Power Due to the reduced attack speed mentioned above, the Soul Bow, despite having 128 more P. Atk than Hazard Bow, ends up showing lower overall average DPS. This is a clear issue, as higher-grade weapons should naturally offer better performance. 3. Skill Delay, Firing Motion, and Reduced Attack Frequency It is understandable that longbows have longer firing motion animations, which affects not only auto-attacks but also skill casting speed, making them less effective in hit-and-run or PvP scenarios compared to shortbows. This aspect can be accepted as part of the intended design difference between longbows and shortbows. However, the additional drop in attacks per minute, leading to reduced DPS, appears to be a balance flaw rather than a design choice. Talk to her within 30 minutes of her appearance and receive Time limited 6 hours 100% EXP/SP boost scroll! Reward cooldown is 12 hours! So don't try to sneak and get it while you are not supposed to Do not forget to talk to Freya's Servant and get Freya's Blessing! Buff improves every hour and lasts 4 hours in total.
